The Federal government has given approval to The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), to recruit qualified Nigerians into the 4 agencies under its purview.

The Breakdown of the approvals shows, that each agency are to recruit personnel as indicated against their names:

1- Correctional Service: 5,150 Personnel

2- The Nigeria Immigration Service: 10,000 Personnel

3- The Federal Fire Service: 5,000 Personnel

4- Civil Defence: 10,000

5- Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration service board: 209

The Management of the Modibbo Adama University, Yola is inviting applications from suitable qualified candidates for employment into the following Faculties and Departments/programmes of the University.

ACADEMIC STAFF POSITIONS

i.) Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS 2)
Requirements: A Masters Degree not below 3.50/5.0 CGPA; 2nd class Honours degree for B.Sc Accountancy + ACCA/ACA; DVM; MBBS; LLB + BL; B.Pharm.; B. Eng + COREN and any professional certificate through additional assessment may be considered.

ii.) Lecturer II (CONUASS 3)
Requirements: A Ph.D.; A Masters Degree plus 3 years post qualification experience and a minimum of (3) publications; Entry point for Masters Degree in Engineering + COREN; DVM; Master Degree in Accountancy plus ACA/ACCA plus (2) publications and any professional certificate through additional assessment may be considered.

iii.) Lecturer I (CONUASS 4)
Requirements: A Ph.D. with at least 3 publications plus 3 years post qualification experience; M.Sc. with at least 5 publications plus five (5) years relevant post qualification experience; Must be the lead author in 2 publications and 2 must be in circulation; M.Sc. with at least 8 years relevant experience. This shall apply only to candidates from industry.

iv.) Senior Lecturer (CONUASS 5)
Requirements: A Ph.D. with at least 6 publications plus 6 years relevant experience; And must be the lead author in at least 3 publications and 3 publications must be in circulation

v.) Associate Professor (CONUASS 6)
Requirements: Must possess a Ph.D; Must have at least 12 publications and must be the lead author in at least 6 publications; Must have 9 years relevant experience; All publications must be in circulation

vi.) Professor (CONUASS 7)
Requirements: Must possess a Ph.D; Must have at least 12 years relevant experience; Must have at least 18; publications and must be the lead author in at l
