OUR SUCCESS INGREDIENTS
1. EARLY START.
JAMB exams would require an average full 2 years to prepare thoroughly for optimum result which is something we try to accomplish through our science foundation classes for Ss1 and Ss2 students. Nonetheless our 9 months intensive training if followed consistently and both the management of Gateway, the students and the parents contributed their due quotas, a decent result has been proven to be possible. Most students start preparing after they register for JAMB which is usually less than 4 months and that's very terrible as good Results is nearly impossible or the least to say is, the JAMB scores would have been better if the preparations started earlier.
2. PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED, EXPERIENCED TEACHERS
GATEWAY from its inception tries to find the best teachers possible going round the top private schools to cherry pick the best even going as far as the University to get the top teachers with a relatable experience of coaching JAMB students, that enables us to have at our hands stellar collection of professional teachers that are experienced as well as passionate about imparting knowledge to the students with their qualifications ranging from PhD(in view) to MSc and Bsc and BA with all of them having educational qualifications in PGDE and TRCN license too.
3. THE BEST POSSIBLE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
With students coming from over 30 different schools in Adamawa state and about 30% of the students having finished secondary school and came back just to make their JAMB exams with a lot of them having schooled in schools away from Adamawa state, you can bet the atmosphere is already set for competition amongst the students. The management provide rooms for students to lay their complaints if any about the whole program or any class they are having difficulties with on a regular basis so that solutions could be provided at the earliest, there is a regular general orientation for the students and an individualized orientation too based on the peculiar observable problem of the student.
4. HARD WORK AND HARD WORK
Alot of people mistake GATEWAT for a special centre because of the unbelievable good JAMB results we produce, but if there is anything special about GATEWAY, it will be the amount of work we put in to make sure our students succeed in their JAMB exams. So the secret ingredient of our success is simple, we work had and we encourage our students to do the same.
