NURUL-ULUM ISLAMIC ACADEMY HOLDS STAFF CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP

In a bid to enhance professionalism, strengthen teaching capacity, and promote academic excellence, NURUL-ULUM ISLAMIC ACADEMY successfully conducted a Capacity Building Workshop for its staff today at the school premises.

The insightful workshop brought together academic and administrative staff members who actively participated in various sessions aimed at improving educational standards, effective teaching methodologies, staff development, and institutional growth.

The workshop featured experienced and knowledgeable facilitators, including:

🔹 Malam Yusuf Bello Ardo – Head of Section (HOS), Monitoring and Evaluation, Mayo-Belwa Local Government Education Authority (MBLGEA).
🔹 Malam Naziru Muhammad – Lecturer, F.C.E Yola (Islamic Studies).
🔹 Malam Abdullahi Mairiga – Lecturer, F.C.E Yola.

The facilitators delivered impactful presentations and practical guidance designed to improve staff competence, dedication, and efficiency in the discharge of their responsibilities.

Notably, both the Director of Administration and the Director of Academics, alongside all staff members, participated fully in the workshop, demonstrating the institution’s commitment to continuous learning, educational excellence, and quality service delivery.

The management of NURUL-ULUM ISLAMIC ACADEMY expressed appreciation to the facilitators and participants for contributing to the success of the workshop, reaffirming the school’s dedication to nurturing a highly skilled and productive workforce for improved educational outcomes.

Alhamdulillah, the Inter-Class Football Competition match between JSS 1 and SSS 1 was played successfully with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The encounter showcased exciting football and strong teamwork from both sides, but it was SSS 1 that dominated throughout the match with effective attacking play and solid defense.

From the opening whistle, SSS 1 controlled the tempo of the game and applied continuous pressure on the JSS 1 defense. Their hardworking forwards capitalized on scoring opportunities, finding the back of the net six times. JSS 1 fought hard but were unable to convert chances into goals, ending the match goalless.

The victory means SSS 1 have now qualified for the final of the competition — a well-deserved achievement that reflects their skill, teamwork, and determination.

Congratulations to SSS 1 for progressing to the final round! We also commend JSS 1 for their effort and participation in this exciting school sporting event.
