Believers in Christ ought to see things in the light of scriptures and not our personal feelings, experiences, beliefs or our traditions. Let us lay aside what else we have believed over the years that are contrary to sound doctrines and see what the scriptures say about everything we practice in the Church today. The word of God must be the final authority in our everyday life. Just because you have held onto something for long does not mean that thing is right, you could be wrong all these years. Yes, a person may be honest but still be wrong; being honest does not always mean being right. It is a great blessing to remain teachable; it improves you and enlightens you to live a better and more effective Christian life.

Proper Bible interpretation
is the FORTE OF CHRISTIAN WORSHIP. This implies that
when a believer’s interpretation of the scriptures is
improper, his/her worship will be misguided or out of
place.
