ADUSTECH DVCs, Dean of Students Affairs Attend TETFund Conference on Leadership Excellence in Lagos.

The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics), Professor Ado Mukhtar Bichi, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), Professor Nuradeen Bashir Umar, and the Dean Students Affairs, Professor Abdulkadir Muhammad Dambazau, of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Wudil, participated in the TETFund Conference on Leadership Excellence held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos, from Thursday, 9th to Friday, 10th July, 2026.

The two-day conference, organized by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), brought together Deputy Vice Chancellors, Deputy Provosts, and Deans of Students Affairs from tertiary institutions across Nigeria under the theme of promoting leadership excellence in higher education.

The conference was designed to strengthen institutional leadership capacity through insightful discussions, knowledge sharing, and practical strategies aimed at improving governance, academic excellence, innovation, and effective student administration in Nigeria's tertiary education sector.

Throughout the programme, participants engaged in interactive sessions focusing on contemporary leadership practices, institutional development, strategic planning, quality assurance, student welfare, and collaborative approaches to addressing emerging challenges within higher education.
The participation of the ADUSTECH delegation reflects the University's unwavering commitment to continuous professional development, sound institutional leadership, and the pursuit of excellence in teaching, research, administration, and student affairs.

The knowledge and experiences gained from the conference are expected to further enhance leadership effectiveness and contribute significantly to advancing the University's vision of becoming a leading institution in science, technology, and innovation.

IYILIK GUNU Human Development Foundation Honours ADUSTECH Student Volunteers, Appreciates University Management for Successful Distribution of 200 Rams During Eid al-Adha

The Vice Chancellor of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Wudil, Professor Musa Tukur Yakasai, received a delegation from the IYILIK GUNU Human Development Foundation on a courtesy and appreciation visit to the University.

The delegation expressed its profound appreciation to the University Management for its unwavering support and collaboration, which contributed significantly to the successful distribution of 200 rams to members of the University community during the Eid al-Adha celebration. The Foundation also commended the dedication, discipline, and commitment demonstrated by ADUSTECH staff and student volunteers throughout the humanitarian exercise.

In recognition of their outstanding service and invaluable contributions, the Foundation presented Certificates of Appreciation and cash tokens to the student volunteers who participated in the successful implementation of the programme.

ADUSTECH WUDIL INAUGURATES LOCAL ORGANIZING COMMITTEE FOR THE 2026 FARM MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (FAMAN) CONFERENCE

The Vice Chancellor of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Wudil, Professor Musa Tukur Yakasai, has officially inaugurated the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the 2026 Farm Management Association of Nigeria (FAMAN) Conference during a ceremony held on Wednesday, 8th July, 2026, at the University Council Chambers.

The event commenced with an opening prayer and self-introduction by participants, followed by a comprehensive briefing on the objectives of the Farm Management Association of Nigeria (FAMAN) and the significance of the forthcoming 2026 Conference. The presentation was delivered by the National President of FAMAN, Professor Usman Haruna, who highlighted the importance of the conference in promoting research, innovation, and sustainable agricultural development in Nigeria.

In his inauguration remarks, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Musa Tukur Yakasai, congratulated members of the Local Organizing Committee on their appointment and expressed confidence in their ability to organize a successful conference that will project the academic excellence and hospitality of ADUSTECH.

Professor Yakasai reaffirmed the University's unwavering commitment to supporting academic and professional associations whose activities contribute to national development, particularly in the fields of agriculture, science, technology, and innovation. He urged members of the committee to work collaboratively, maintain professionalism, and ensure that the conference meets international standards.

VICE CHANCELLOR RECEIVES LEADERSHIP OF NAAS ADUSTECH CHAPTER ON COURTESY VISIT

The Vice Chancellor of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Wudil, Kano State, Prof. Musa Tukur Yakasai, has received the leadership of the Nigerian Association of Agricultural Students (NAAS), ADUSTECH Wudil Chapter, on a courtesy visit to his office.

The delegation was led by the President of the Association, Comr. Umar Ahmad Sani, and comprised the Vice President, Comr. Fatima Mana Abubakar; the Welfare Officer, Comr. Ahmad Rufai Sada; and the Protocol Officer, Comr. Abdullahi Hussain.

The visit served as an avenue for constructive engagement on issues relating to students' welfare, academic development, and the advancement of agricultural education within the University. The delegation also expressed its appreciation to the Vice Chancellor for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to improving the academic environment and enhancing students' learning experience.

In his remarks, Prof. Musa Tukur Yakasai commended the executives of NAAS for their exemplary leadership, unity, and commitment to promoting the interests of Agricultural students. ADUSTECH Matriculates 2,018 Part-Time Students for the 2025/2026 Academic Session

Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Wudil, Kano State, has officially matriculated 2,018 Part-Time students for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, marking the beginning of their academic journey at the University.

Addressing the newly admitted students during the matriculation ceremony, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Musa Tukur Yakasai, congratulated them on their successful admission and urged them to remain focused, dedicated, and committed to academic excellence. He emphasized the importance of obeying the University rules and regulations, maintaining good character, staying away from drug abuse and other social vices, and avoiding all forms of examination malpractice.

The Vice Chancellor also encouraged students who are yet to register as voters to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise before the deadline. He noted that ADUSTECH, Wudil, has been designated as one of the official registration centres, and urged eligible students to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) so they can actively participate in the democratic process and contribute to the nation's development.

The University Management wishes all newly matriculated students a successful and rewarding academic journey.
