For 2023, the theme of World Food Day is; water - 'water is life, water is food. Leave no food behind'.

This theme aims at highlighting the critical role of water for life on earth and water as the foundation of our food. It also seeks to raise global awareness about the importance of managing water wisely as population growth, climate change e.t.c continues to threaten the availability of water.

What we eat and how that food is produced, all affect water.

Together, we can take water action for the future of food, people and the world.
