MINUTES OF EVENTS AT THE REUNION PARTY HELD AT JUBILEE EVENT HALL ON LAST SUNDAY THE
17TH DECEMBER 2017.

TIME: 3:00PM

This is the report of activities at the reunion party. The party was anchored by Victor Etuk and Nancy Wene. Guest started arriving at from 3pm and by 3:30pm the hall was filled. The opening prayer was said by Pastor Mrs Sere Oyibo. After the prayers the school anthem was sang for the first time after 23yrs to the excitement of all. The ADMIN (Omoerere Shakarho) was called to give his speech. In his speech he reminded us about the journey how it all started from 1989 to 1994 and till date all that gave birth to the launching of the C94 platform. He made us all see the reasons the platform was created with the aims and objectives, the progresses made so far. At a point in his speech, he listed some names of our departed Classmates and teachers and a minute silence was observed in their honour.
In his speech he encourages everyone not to relent but to continue with our efforts to see that the platform and the love bond continues. His powerful speech lasted for 20mins.
After the admin speech, everyone was called upon to introduce themselves one after the other. This introduction was another fun cause it's reminded everyone how we used to called ourselves back then in school.
During the course of the event we had special guests from the general NACOSA body of the persons of the interim president Lucky Amorighoye and Mrs Thelma Okosun Treasurer of NACOSA. The NACOSA interim president was called upon for a brief speech which he appreciated the initiative and the unity of the well organized reunion party of our Class 94 set. He also informed us about the General NACOSA platform and the proposed reunion that is coming up 23rd Feb 2018 and the school inter house sport coming up on the 22nd of February. The registration of the association which is in progress. He hereby thanked everyone and felt honoured to celebrate with us.
In the course of the party election was conducted and New executive bodies where elected by the large house to pilot the affairs of the platform for this new dispensation.

The floor was opened for dancing and everyone stood on their feet dancing to the tune of the old school jams reminding us all about the old dancing steps back then in school to the delight of everyone. It was fun, real fun as we dances with ourselves again for the first time after 23yrs.
In the highlight of the day was the jokes cracked among us all, mostly Victor thrilling the house with endless jokes. Refreshment, everyone eat and drink to satisfaction while the D.J. thrilled all with sweet old school songs.
This memorable event came to an end at 8pm with the admin declaring it closed, thanking the old executive, the Reunion planning Committee members for putting up an excellent planning of the party at this short time and wishing everyone journey mercy home cause lots of people from diaspora traveled down for the Reunion party. Meanwhile with the joy of this Maiden Réunion party everyone now focus on our next Réunion party to be organized by the new elected executive board after the old executive board was dissolved. He then wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance.
