Midweek Service. 24/09/2026
Topic: Accessing Light.
Text: Psalms 27:1 (KJV)
Speaker: Pst. David Fadeyi

Light is the inheritance of every believer.
As individuals, we will come to the crossroads where we may struggle to figure out what to do next. In such moments, the light of God is what we need to guide and direct us.
Sometimes, what you are going through is not the problem but the understanding of the situation is the problem. And Light brings understanding.Spiritual competence is important in searching for light.

Steps To Access Light.

1. Having a mind that is open and searching as seen in Matthew 7:7(KJV)
You must develop an open mind towards accessing light.
The secret of people who achieve it is that they always keep an open mind towards difficult situations.
When God wants to give illumination he puts the light in our heart, and it's only when you search that we can see as seen in Proverbs 20:27(KJV).

2. Understanding: Understanding of times and season does not solve the problem until you understand what to do in the season as seen in Daniel 10:12(KJV)
There are some things you will not find until you search and God wants us to search
Searching releases layers of light which leads to a solution.
Searching for light reveals direction as seen in Genesis 26:1-3(KJV)

Distractions From Light :
1.Social Media: For your heart to be positioned to seek and find you must shut out some distractions like social media.
2. Noise: Noise distracts us from accessing light.
Christ is the only source of light in the entire creation.
Order is the first step to multiplication.
The essence of light is to lead you to the final destination which is salvation.

Step To Take While Searching.
1. Burn Incense: Your Incense is your prayer and worship.
Perpetual incense is the idea that light is always abundant in God's presence as seen in Leviticus 24: 2(KJV)
When you maintain a steady prayer and worship life you experience a light filled life.
Your heart is a powerful tool in accessing light . Darkness can fill the heart as seen in Isaiah 58:6-8. (KJV).
Being a light to the world depends on how well you are positioned to shine.

PRAYERS:
1. Father, lead me in the path I have not known.

"When you look back over 4+ years of academic warfare and see how God sustained you, you can't help but dance!"
