From making the Purple Tie Foundation Programme 2026 truly beautiful with our soul lifting melodies and captivating performances, the Adisco All Girls Brass Band has continued to prove that excellence has a sound and Adisco Girls carry it with pride.

Last month at the Purple Tie Foundation event, we were not just performers; we became the life of the celebration, adding colour, class, energy, and unforgettable musical moments that made the programme a memorable success.

Once again, the excellence of the band earned us another special invitation to grace the ceremony of the Imo Development Association Women Wing in Akwa Ibom State, where the distinguished Lolo Christiana Ogechi was honoured with an award and title. And true to who we are, we did not just attend; we gave the event a beautiful atmosphere, thrilled the audience, and made the day worth remembering for the entire Igbo community present.

Adiaha Obong Secondary Commercial School proudly attended the 76th Anniversary Ceremony of Cornelia Connelly College, popularly known as CCC, and emerged victorious in yet another debate competition.

Speaking against the motion:
“Should the Government of Developing Economies Prioritize Vocational Training Over University Education for Girls?”

our brilliant girls rose to the challenge with confidence, intelligence, and outstanding eloquence.
Honestly, we did not expect to debate against two schools on the same day, but the team delivered excellently, defeating both CCC and Federal Government Girls College, Ukana to claim victory and a cash prize of ₦30,000 for each student in the debate team.

The trio did absolute justice to the task and represented ADISCO with pride and brilliance.
Our amiable Principal, Mrs. Theresa Essien-Ibanga, an old girl of CCC herself, was present, delighted, and excited to witness ADISCO emerge victorious on such a memorable occasion.

Adiaha Obong Secondary Commercial School (ADISCO) once again affirms its culture of academic excellence and competitive distinction as it was proudly represented by Blossom Victor Ekere at the Uyo Crunchies Spelling Bee 2026, held on May 4, 2026.

Blossom delivered an outstanding performance, demonstrating the quality of preparation and intellectual grooming synonymous with ADISCO. She secured 3 points in her batch, finishing just behind the top contestant who scored 4 points, and has successfully qualified for the Grand Finale scheduled for June 2026.

This achievement reflects not only Blossom’s dedication and brilliance but also ADISCO’s unwavering commitment to nurturing excellence, discipline, and confidence in its students.
