124 HOURS CLOCKED!
At exactly 5:00pm today, I successfully smashed the current record held by Rsybai Isakov amid loud cheers and applause from spectators who had gathered at City View Hall, Watbridge Hotels & Suites to watch me read aloud.
After breaking the 124-hour record set by Isakov, I'm currently on my way to setting a new world record by reading aloud for 145 hours.
This milestone is not an easy feat and I'm thankful for the grace to come this far. As I continue to read aloud to set a new record of 145 hours, I solicit your prayers and love because only with your love can I succeed.
Impossible is nothing!

READMANIA - Senator Ekong Sampson Visits, Cheers Up John Obot
The Senator representing Akwa Ibom South in the National Assembly and Vice Chairman, Senate Committees on Education and FCT, Senator Ekong Sampson this afternoon visited marathoner, John Obot, at the City View Hall, Watbridge Hotels, Uyo.
Senator Sampson spent about two hours in the reading hall. He listened to Obot's rendition of 'The Lion and the Oil Palm' written by Justice Egbert Udo Udoma, which appears as an appendix in 'Law and Statesmanship: The Legacy of Sir Udo Udoma', one of Senator Sampson's books.
The Akwa Ibom South Senator sits as advisor to Watbridge Hotels, Uyo - who are hosting the World Record attempt Readmania and has given the entire Letters House facility for free to John Obot and his team.

Readmania Ongoing...
After reading aloud for four hours at a stretch, I took a 20-minute break because for every one hour, I am aloud to take a 5-minute break.
And now, I have returned to continue reading the Civil War Child by Nestor Udoh.
Impossible is nothing.
