This is a picture of two seasons of my life. The first (picture below) in 2012 and 2013 is the season where I was a complete nuisance to society, filled with so much desire to find my place and space on the earth.

The second (picture above) taken 2022 is a young man who has discovered those things and begun to make his print on the earth. Filled with Obsession for the path he's been sent on.

In 2018 when setting my vision board (having realized my purpose), I wanted to host conferences and be a blessing to young people. My Pastor asked me to pin them there.

The picture below, is one of the pictures I used on my vision board. In 2021, we held the same event in a similar setting. And it was a great start for the obtainment of our major goals.

LESSONS:
Many persons have said that setting goals and Vision boards are not needed but I beg to differ. Success is built on Laws not emotions and most definitely not luck🌹

Insist on having your desire and insist on making sure You win. Don't sit back and watch life happen. Design it on your canvas (vision board and goals). Regardless of your beginnings, these laws are designed to introduce intentionality to your life and to control your experiences in life.

I sat some days back pondering and meditating when it hit me for the first time in a long while that as soon as the clock hits 12am January 1st, 2024...My age cycle begins to count. This is the same case for everyone reading this now.

Whether you are aware of it or not, if you were 26 years of age last year, you will be 27 years of age this year (whatever month you were born in). With this knowledge, as much as you are excited and thankful to God, that knowledge infuses within you specific questions like;

These amongst many questions kept flooding my heart as they should yours. A mentor of mine said; 'when all that advances in and around you is your age, lack of fulfilment will become your food tomorrow'.

It is exciting, thrilling and wonderful to have advanced into the new year, but ask yourself this key question; 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐈 𝐀𝐋𝐒𝐎 𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑, 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐘 𝐈 𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑?

Be truthful to and with yourself and commit to leverage on the advantages of time gifted to you and GROW. Pay for courses this year, pay for access to great people who have gone ahead of you. A 𝑓𝑜𝑜𝑙 𝑠𝑎𝑦𝑠 𝑖𝑛 ℎ𝑖𝑠 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡, 𝐼 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠.

Intentionally decide to make moves beyond talking and execute ideas and plans you've drafted during your retreat (if you had any). Success is a meal carried by a waiter called intentional decision making. Decide by actions to change the narratives of your life and truly win greatly.

I will also use this opportunity to state that at last, my First Book will be released this month and I am excited about the impact it will make in the life of her readers. The new year doesn't mean new things will happen without your intentionality. Know this and know peace.

TET-A-TET WITH THE GOVERNOR 🌹❤️

One of the greatest advantages of my change of environment is the limitless possibilities that ALU afforded to me.

A few weeks ago, I was super honoured to be chosen to be in the same closed room meeting with H.E Dauda Lawal the Executive Governor of Zamfara State and a few of his cabinet members, on their visit to The Harvard of Africa [African Leadership University].

This was a meeting that meant so much to me. I had the privilege of asking him specific and intelligent questions (as taught by Barr. Morgan Ekanem) on Leadership, his challenges and ohhh dearrr...I was humbled by his interest and time taken to respond to each of them. Teaching delegation, consistency and the insistence to ensure that those competent and character built become leaders.

I sat before a Leader whose passion for his people was completely undeniable. He concluded by counseling that I should give my best to ensure that society never comes under the influence of wrong Leadership by reason of what I do. This truly is a rare breed. It's amazing to see the great emergence of Leaders even in my dear state led by Pastor Umo Eno 🌹

I remain truly grateful to my leaders who chose me to have this discussion giving me the answer to a 6 year goal of mine. It was an honour for me to watch how with simplicity this Leader carried himself.

I have learnt that relationships are critical to the emergence of any individual and this was the case for me. It remains my prayer and zeal, to give my best towards Leadership and human capital development.

Piece my piece, the words and timing my spiritual father Pastor Ezekiel Atang spoke concerning my journey finds expression. I remain indebted. It gladens my heart that As my first book comes in January, I will be dedicating it completely to Him. I deeply wish you saw these times🥹

YOUR ENVIRONMENT MATTERS...🌹

Despite identifying what your strengths are as an individual, it is necessary to identify what environments are needed to both develop and expand your value/commodity if you must make Impact, gain influence and attract income. For some it's a geographical factor, for most it's a humanistic factor and for others it's both.

Before moving to study at the prestigious African Leadership University ALU guided by Blessing Akpan, I knew I had the challenge of placing what was a passion and deep desires of mine as secondary and many times inconsequential just to maintain and stay in a predefined environment void of fulfilment, irritations and many other factors.

The call came to me like it will for many young persons in the coming year, to sacrificially vacate certain and specific environments in order to appropriately fulfil destiny. Please note that You will be faced with the challenge of seeing where God is leading you to, and deciding to make the difficult decisions even in the presence of several seeming impossibilities.

You must be reminded by the law of time and be inspired by it to make haste whilst the sun shines. You must be reminded that there are seasons for specific things and by that knowledge be guided to proactively make actions towards the obtainment of the stated goal (even in cases where clarity isn't fully obtained, you will learn to trust God as you go).

We are finally at the end of our trimester here at ALU and it's been truly worth the rough rides and here is the beauty of being planted in the right soils/environments. Here, what was considered a distraction has been interwoven, well designed to go side by side if not the core of all that I do and I am. I have found the environment that develops me as well as grants me the Platform to express my passions, not ever having to think less of the other.

The models of learning (non-traditionally designed to be practical in its operation), the opportunities for growth and connectivity with people and organizations are truly phenomenal environmental factors that have granted growth to this seed (me). I am super grateful to God, my Parents, those who have sponsored and continue to support my growth and emergence one way or the other, for helping me soar and to find the environment that grooms me for greater impact.

My counsel goes to every young person who has found themselves in a similar season and to those who will experience this season in the coming year; that you by mentorship and prayer, resist every opportunity to stay small and to be caged by unhealthy environments (in this context)... Giving your best to exceed limitations and finally breakthrough on every side as it is your destiny. Learn and gather all you can at the environment you find yourself as you move to the next environment.

If the price tag is heavy for growth and fulfilment of purpose, gladly take it up. It makes YOU the Prize!
