What reason were you hoping to see when you swiped? 😂👇
Because some of you swiped through every slide looking for a valid excuse not to learn a tech skill.
Because the truth is, most of the reasons people give for not starting are usually just excuses in disguise.
"I'm waiting for the right time."
"I'll start next year."
"Tech isn't for me."
We've heard them all.
If you've been thinking about it for a while, maybe this is your sign to stop overthinking and start learning.
The people building amazing careers today didn't have all the answers when they started. They just took the first step.
If you're looking for the best place to learn a tech skill in Uyo, a place where you can learn digital skills through practical training and develop profitable tech skills, then you're already thinking in the right direction.
Now tell us: what excuse do you hear people use the most? 👇😂

🚩 RED FLAGS WE SEE TOO OFTEN
❌ "I'll start next month."
❌ "I need money first."
❌ "I'm waiting for the right time."
❌ "Tech is not for people like me."
❌ "I'm too old to learn a tech skill."
❌ "There are already too many people in tech."
❌ "Let me get a job first, then I'll learn."
❌ "I don't even have a laptop."
❌ "I'll just watch YouTube videos."
❌ "What if I fail?"
Here's the thing...
Almost everyone who is doing well today started with one excuse or another.
The difference is that they eventually stopped waiting and started learning.
The biggest red flag isn't the excuse.
It's holding on to it for another year.
If you've been thinking about learning digital skills, maybe this is your sign to stop overthinking and take the first step.
👀 Be honest: which of these excuses have you said before?

A young woman can spend years studying STEM and still wonder if she belongs.
Not because she lacks intelligence.
Not because she lacks potential.
But because somewhere along the line, she started believing she wasn't enough.
At SHE Conference 2026, one message kept resurfacing:
The biggest barrier to success is often not a lack of opportunity. It's a lack of confidence.
As a proud partner of this event, MITA School joined the conversation on women in STEM, leadership, career growth, and overcoming imposter syndrome.
Over the years, we've learned that the future belongs not just to those with degrees, but to those with the skills, confidence, adaptability, and courage to take opportunities when they come.
That's why MITA School is committed to helping young people discover their potential, build industry-relevant skills, and develop the confidence to thrive in technology and beyond.
To every young woman reading this:
Your voice matters. Your ideas matter. Your place in STEM matters.
And it all begins with believing that you belong. 💜
