*BRING BACK OUR KIDS*

At The Shield International Schools, our hearts are with the pupils, teachers, and families affected by the tragic kidnapping in Oyo State.

Every child deserves to learn in safety, dream without fear, and return home to the loving embrace of family. An attack on our children is an attack on our future, our communities, and our nation.

Today, we stand in solidarity with the affected families, offering our prayers, support, and unwavering hope for the safe and immediate return of every child and teacher.

We call on all stakeholders, security agencies, community leaders, and concerned citizens to remain united in the effort to secure their freedom and strengthen the safety of schools across Nigeria.

They are not just statistics. They are not just headlines. They are our children.

May hope remain alive. May courage prevail. May every child return home safely.

🌟 *MEET ALBERT EINSTEIN* 🌟

Albert Einstein was one of the smartest scientists in the world!
🧠✨ He was born on March 14, 1879, in Germany and loved asking questions about how things worked.

As a child, Albert was very curious and enjoyed learning about mathematics and science. He grew up to become a famous physicist and discovered many important ideas about space, light, and energy.

Einstein once said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” 💡 This teaches us to dream big, stay curious, and never stop learning.

At our school, we encourage every child to explore, ask questions, and believe in their ability to do great things — just like Albert Einstein! 🌈📚

*The Water Cycle: Nature’s Never-Ending Journey 💧🌦️*

This week at The Shield International Schools, our Primary and Junior Secondary students are exploring one of Earth’s most amazing processes — *The Water Cycle*!

The water cycle is how water moves continuously around our planet through 4 main stages:
1. *Ev***ration* – The sun heats water in rivers, lakes, and oceans, turning it into invisible water v***r.
2. *Condensation* – The v***r cools in the air and forms tiny water droplets, creating clouds.
3. *Precipitation* – When droplets get too heavy, they fall back to Earth as rain, snow, or hail.
4. *Collection* – The water gathers in rivers, lakes, and oceans, and the cycle starts again.

*Why it matters*: The water cycle gives us fresh water for drinking, farming, and keeping the environment alive. No cycle, no life!

*Class Activity*: Ask your child to draw and label the 4 stages of the water cycle in their notebook. Bonus points if they can explain it back to you in their own words!

Science isn’t just in the textbook — it’s in the rain outside your window ☔

*Recycle Today, Protect Tomorrow ♻️🌍*

At The Shield International Schools, we teach our pupils that small actions create big change.

Recycling waste products like paper, plastic bottles, and cans helps to:
1. *Keep our environment clean* – Less litter in our classrooms, compounds, and community.
2. *Conserve resources* – Recycling saves trees, water, and energy for future generations.
3. *Build responsibility* – Every pupil can be an environmental guardian right from school.

This term, our pupils will learn simple ways to sort waste and turn recyclables into useful items. Because a clean school is the first step to a clean city.

*Question for parents & students*: What’s one waste item at home you can recycle this week? Tell us in the comments!
