Abasites gathered in fellowship and gratitude, celebrating the Fatherโ€™s grace and faithfulness. Following the Divine Service, ABASites gathered in one accord for the Congress, providing an avenue for meaningful deliberations on matters concerning the growth, welfare, progress and overall advancement of the Chapter.

A significant part of the deliberations focused on preparations towards the forthcoming ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ง๐ ๐€๐๐€๐’ ๐€๐ค๐ฐ๐š ๐ˆ๐›๐จ๐ฆ ๐’๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ฏ๐จ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, with the Chapter serving as the host. Discussions also centred on the forthcoming ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ“๐ญ๐ก ๐€๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐‚๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐›๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง of the Chapter, during which the Event Committee Chairperson, Sis. Esther John gave a general overview of the activities lined up for the event. ABASites also made valuable contributions towards ensuring a successful, impactful and memorable celebration.

Thereafter, the Chapter President, ๐๐ซ๐จ. ๐ˆ๐ง๐ข๐ฎ๐›๐จ๐ง๐  ๐€๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ช๐ฎ๐จ responded to the issues raised, provided necessary clarifications and appreciated the contributions of ABASites. Following the commencement of the exercise, ABASites embarked on a powerful campus outing around the vicinity of Annex Campus. The outing was marked by remarkable energy as ABASites moved together in oneness, strengthening the bond amongst ABASites. The exercise further served as a reminder of the importance of taking the message of faith into the wider community and exemplifying the virtues of love, unity, and service wherever we find ourselves.

As the day's activities drew to a close, the Chapter President, ๐๐‘๐Ž. ๐ˆ๐๐ˆ๐”๐๐Ž๐๐† ๐€๐’๐”๐๐”๐Ž, addressed the ABASites and conveyed the necessary announcements concerning the activities scheduled to take place throughout the week. Members were duly informed and encouraged to remain committed, available and actively involved in the chapter's forthcoming engagements.

The day's gathering came to a fulfilling close with a ๐‹๐Ž๐•๐„ ๐…๐„๐€๐’๐“ in an atmosphere of gratitude, unity and renewed spiritual commitment, leaving ABASites encouraged and strengthened to continue in the Father's work.

A CALL TO NEW BIRTH: ABAS UNIUYO TAKES THE GOSPEL TO CAMPUS

In fulfilment of her commitment to spreading the Gospel, the Association of Brotherhood Academic Scholars (ABAS), University of Uyo Chapter, today, Monday, August 31st, 2026, embarked on a powerful Campus Evangelism Outreach at the school's Main Campus (Permanent Site), University of Uyo.

The outreach brought together ABASites in one accord to take the message of Christ beyond the walls of the church and into the academic community. Through preaching, personal evangelism and heartfelt interactions, students were reminded of the transforming power of the Gospel and the importance of having a genuine encounter with God.

Central to the message was โ€œTHE CONCEPT OF BEING BORN AGAIN," which was an extract from the Everlasting Gospel Vol. 3 chapter 78 highlighted the necessity of moving beyond outward religion to a genuine inward transformation. The new birth calls for a renewed mind, a changed character and a life that reflects Christ in words, actions and conduct.

The scriptural admonition in 1 Corinthians 14:20 served as a powerful reminder, โ€œBrethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.โ€ This scripture calls believers to maturity in understanding to grow beyond spiritual childishness and embrace a life of wisdom, discernment, and Christlike character.

As a family, we are most grateful for the success of today's outing, and we will continue to uphold our mandate of spreading the Gospel to academia and beyond.

The exercise was carried out in an atmosphere of joy, gratitude, and brotherly love, further strengthening the bond of unity and togetherness among ABASites.

The chapter remains committed to promoting the welfare and well-being of every ABASites while upholding the values of love, service, unity and mutual support that continue to define the ABAS family.

ABAS UNIUYO'S CAMPUS BREAK OF FAST

The ABASites of University of Uyo with extreme joy and steadfastness convened today being the *27th of August 2026,* to celebrate the Thursday's break of fast at their Town Campus in Ikpa Road.

Euphoria filled the air as a good number of ABASites turned up irrespective of being in the season of examinations.

With the presence of the President, his Executives, some graduates and ABASites, prayers and songs echoed through the campus premises as the presence of our Holy Father was announced by the activities of the ABASites on the Campus.

The Chapter's President thanked the Holy Father for His grace and the capacity given to the chapter to carry out the activity, praying also that He takes absolute control of our examinations for the semester.

The campus break of fast session came to a close with a full feast.
May all thanks and praises be given to our most Holy Father for now and ever more.
