Prof. Paul Shehu Yaduma, DFERIN, Sworn In as Acting President and Chairman of Council of ERIN

The Empirical Research Institute of Nigeria (ERIN) announces the virtual swearing-in of Prof. Paul Shehu Yaduma, DFERIN, as the Acting President and Chairman of Council during the 3rd Council Meeting and Extended Council Transition Meeting held on Wednesday, 15th July 2026 via Google Meet.
The leadership transition followed the voluntary resignation of the Institute's President after his 77th birthday. Council members, State Coordinators commended the outgoing President for his dedicated service and significant contributions to the growth and development of the Institute.
In his acceptance remarks, Prof. Yaduma thanked the Council for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to provide transparent, inclusive, and visionary leadership while strengthening research excellence, institutional governance, and strategic collaborations.
The Governing Council congratulates Prof. Yaduma on his appointment and calls on all members to support him as he leads the Institute in advancing its mission of promoting research, innovation, and evidence-based practice.
