BUILDING BRIDGES TO GLOBAL EDUCATION 🇳🇬🤝🇩🇪: Represented by our School Manager, Mater Amabilis participated in a two-day workshop for Nigerian School Administrators from SBEC Partner Schools, held in Frankfurt, Germany, on 18th and 19th August, 2026. The workshop, organised by the Did Deutsch-Institut, focused on how Nigerian secondary schools can effectively prepare and support their students for a smooth transition into university education in Germany. Participation in this international programme further reflects our commitment to providing our students with access to global educational opportunities.

🌍 FROM ANAMBRA TO THE WORLD: CHIBUSONMA TAKES NIGERIA TO THE GLOBAL DEBATING STAGE 🇳🇬

Celebrating our Senior Prefect, Enuka Chibusonma, one of only three Nigerian students proudly representing Nigeria at the 2026 World Schools Debating Championship (WSDC) in Nairobi, Kenya.

Widely regarded as the world's most prestigious debating competition for secondary schools, this year's WSDC has brought together over 500 exceptional students from more than 80 countries across Africa, Europe, Asia, the Americas and Australia.

Chibusonma's remarkable debating journey continues to inspire us. At last year's Shanahan Debate Championship, she led the Mater Amabilis Debate Team as Lead Speaker and was crowned the Overall Best Speaker of the Tournament. Earlier this month, she also distinguished herself at the Spark Nation National Debate Competition, where she finished 3rd overall, further cementing her reputation as one of Nigeria's finest young debaters.

Today, she proudly carries not only the Mater Amabilis banner but also the hopes of Anambra State and Nigeria onto the global stage.

We are immensely proud of you, Chibusonma. As you debate among the world's best, may wisdom, confidence and excellence continue to distinguish you.

ENDING THE YEAR WITH GRATITUDE: With grateful hearts, we offered our Final Sunday Mass of the Academic Term and Year, giving thanks to Almighty God for His unfailing love, protection, and abundant blessings throughout the 2025/2026 session.

It was also a special moment of thanksgiving as our graduating SS3 students returned all glory to God for the successful completion of their secondary school education.
