I had the Wonderful honour to represent the National President, Animal Science Students Association Of Nigeria - ASSAN - National Body , Comr. Luqman Abdulfatai Adefat in yesterday's handover/inauguration of ASSAN MOUAU.

In that event, it was the historic moment when, for the first time in ASSAN MOUAU Chapter history, a lady was elected president. It was also the first time a Zonal Director will inaugurate a government in that chapter.

Animal Science is a profession that is the most diversified, hence there must be capacity leaders to uphold that passion.

I think it's a good footing for my tenure as South Eastern Zonal Director of ASSAN to witness this inclusivity in gender as regards politics. With promises and assurance form our parent Body, stamped by the presence of the National Publicity secretary of ASAN (Parent body) Dr. Rahman Seun Onabanjo , south East Zone will be great!

God bless ASSAN National
God bless ASSAN South Eastern Zone
God bless ASSAN MOUAU
