📢 Loud Whisper for the Day 🕊️

Josh. 1:9 – "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."

Most times, you don't need to have everything figured out before taking that bold step. All you need is to hold on to what God has said concerning that particular situation. Joshua had already received God's promises (Josh. 1:3–5), yet he still needed encouragement to begin the journey.

Many of the people God used greatly seemed weak in themselves. Think of Moses, David, Gideon, and Esther. They prevailed not because of their own strength, but because God was with them. Stop focusing on your inadequacies and fears. Instead, take God at His Word.

📢 Loud Whisper for the Day 🕊️

Ps. 51:10 – "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me."

Have you ever wondered about the kind of thoughts, imaginations, and suggestions that exist in your heart? Sometimes they can be self-centred, proud, lustful, or envious. At times, you may even wonder whether they are really yours or if someone else is living inside you. The more you try to fight them on your own, the more helpless you seem to become.

Beloved in Christ, there is a remedy for that, a clean heart and a right spirit.

This is what you need in such moments. Go to God in prayer and ask Him to change the part of you that has been affected. Don't stop praying until He creates in you a clean heart and renews a right spirit within you.

It was a jubilee time in fellowship as we found out how we were made in God's image.

Through his servant, Revd. Ifenna Patrick, God really spoke to our hearts.
