UNILAG update on admission into Biochemistry and Petroleum & Gas Engineering
Prospective Student of the University of Lagos who have written the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) and are waiting the outcome of the ongoing admission process are hereby informed that the remain eligible for admission into Biochemistry and Petroleum & Gas Engineering programmes.
Only candidates who have obtained the UTME form that are currently on sales and will sit for their exams later in March 2023 are affected by their earlier notice, which was published on Thursday January 19th 2023 on official website and official social media channels
Therefore we implore applicants in the first category, who have applied to the course mentioned, to be at ease.

JAMB suspends 2023 Direct Entry registration, a new date to be announced
The JAMB Direct Entry registration for 2023 has been suspended. This was disclosed in a statement by the JAMB's Head, Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin. He stated that the registration which commenced on Monday, February 20, was suspended with effect from Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
It was revealed that the reason for the suspension is to enable the deployment of certain measures, which are designed to better serve prospective candidates. A new date and instructions will be announced soon
The statement said, “A new date and fresh registration procedure, which will include the upload of JAMB Admission Letter in the case of OND and NCE, admission letter issued by universities in the case of university diploma, and admission letter issued by A’ Level examination bodies (IJMBE, JUPEB, etc.), would be announced in due course so that candidates could proceed to JAMB offices nationwide to register.”
"Candidates are also to note that only JAMB offices are approved to register them for Direct Entry,” the statement added.
