We are excited to announce that Creative Club, Gombe State University is partnering with A Case for Knowledge Tour as we bring an important conversation on learning, curiosity and intellectual engagement to Gombe State University.

In a time when endless scrolling can easily take the place of meaningful learning, A Case for Knowledge invites us to pause, think, ask the difficult questions and rediscover the value of genuine intellectual engagement.

As a club committed to using creativity to inspire ideas, conversations and positive change, we are proud to support an initiative that creates space for young people to learn, question, share perspectives and engage with knowledge beyond the classroom.

Nigerian Youth Representative Assembly – North-East Regional Conference

Creative Club Gombe State University (CCGSU) was honoured to host the Nigerian Youth Representative Assembly for its North-East Regional Conference, bringing together young representatives from across the region for meaningful conversations on youth participation in governance and our collective responsibility towards national development.

The conference provided a valuable platform for young people to exchange ideas, share experiences, ask important questions, and reflect on the role of youth in shaping the future of our communities and country.

One of the most encouraging aspects of the gathering was the diversity of perspectives in the room. It was a clear reminder that young people across the North-East are not only interested in the issues affecting them but are also willing to engage, contribute and take responsibility.

At CCGSU, we believe in creating spaces where young people can express themselves, develop their ideas and engage meaningfully with issues that matter. Hosting this conference was therefore more than an event for us; it was an opportunity to support a conversation that can contribute to stronger youth participation and civic engagement.

We appreciate Husnerh Abdulkhadir Ibrahim, Northeast Coordinator, Nigerian Youth Representative Assembly, and everyone who contributed to making the conference possible.

The North-East is home to a generation of young people with ideas, energy and the capacity to lead. Creating platforms for these voices to be heard is an important step towards building a more inclusive and participatory society.

Friday at Creative Club GSU

Yesterday, we gathered for another engaging Friday session filled with creativity, ideas, and youthful energy.

From conversations around money psychology to personal experiences and different perspectives, the session reminded us of the power of creating spaces where young people can think, question, learn, and connect.

At Creative Club GSU, we believe every conversation can spark an idea, and every idea can become something meaningful.

🇳🇬 Nigeria of My Dream 2026 | Tertiary Institution Edition

A nation's future is shaped by the ideas, courage, and leadership of its young people.

As part of the Nigeria of My Dream 2026 Leadership Summit, Creative Club Gombe State University, in collaboration with Diplomate Teens Network, brought together university students for a thought-provoking engagement on leadership, democracy, nation-building, and active citizenship.

The conversations challenged participants to move beyond merely identifying Nigeria's challenges and begin embracing their role as solution providers. From lecture halls to boardrooms, from communities to public institutions, every young person has the potential to influence positive change.

The future we desire demands more than hope—it requires informed, responsible, and visionary young leaders who are willing to serve with integrity, uphold democratic values, and contribute meaningfully to national development.

Through initiatives like Nigeria of My Dream, we continue to invest in raising a generation of students who are prepared not only to succeed in their careers but also to lead with purpose and make lasting contributions to society.

🇳🇬 Nigeria of My Dream 2026 | Secondary School Edition

What kind of Nigeria do we hope to see tomorrow?

The answer lies in the young minds we inspire in this program.

Through the Nigeria of My Dream Leadership Summit, Creative Club Gombe State University, in collaboration with Diplomate Teens Network, had the privilege of engaging about 70 secondary school students in a meaningful conversation on leadership, patriotism, responsible citizenship, and the values needed to build a better nation.

The session challenged participants to see themselves not merely as students, but as future leaders, innovators, changemakers, and responsible citizens whose choices today will shape the Nigeria of tomorrow.

Real national transformation begins when young people are equipped with the right mindset, inspired to dream beyond limitations, and empowered to lead with integrity, compassion, and excellence.

At Creative Club GSU, we remain committed to creating platforms that nurture the next generation of ethical leaders and active citizens.

The Nigeria of our dream will not happen by chance—it will be built by young people who choose to lead, serve, and make a difference.

Nation Building Conference 🇳🇬

Creative Club, Gombe State University, in collaboration with Live4Life Impact Crew, successfully hosted the Nation Building Conference — a platform that brought together students from across the university to engage in meaningful conversations about the future of Nigeria and the role of young people in shaping it.

The conference created a space for dialogue, reflection, and idea-sharing around the values, responsibilities, and actions needed to build a more prosperous and united nation. Participants explored the importance of patriotism, civic responsibility, and youth participation in driving positive transformation.

Beyond the discussions, the conference served as a reminder that nation-building is a collective responsibility. Through collaboration, awareness, and purposeful engagement, young people can redefine the narrative of Nigeria and contribute to creating the future they desire.

We appreciate the partnership and shared commitment of Live4Life Impact Crew, as well as everyone who contributed to making the conference a meaningful and impactful experience.

Creativity Digest, one of the Creative Club's signature activities, once again brought together talented writers, poets, and storytellers for an inspiring session centered on the theme "Creativity for Social Change." The event provided a platform for members to showcase creative works that speak to real issues affecting society.

Throughout the session, participants presented thought-provoking pieces that addressed climate change, gender-based violence, social inequality, poverty, and mental health. Through poetry, storytelling, and other forms of creative expression, they demonstrated the power of art to spark conversations and drive positive change.

The session highlighted the role of creativity beyond entertainment, showing how words and ideas can challenge perspectives, raise awareness, and encourage action. Each presentation reflected a shared commitment to using creativity as a tool for advocacy and social impact.

As always, Creativity Digest continues to strengthen a culture of expression, learning, and engagement within the Creative Club. It remains a space where young creatives can share their voices, connect with important social issues, and inspire meaningful change through their work.

Creative Club, Gombe State University, in collaboration with Live4Life Impact Crew, successfully hosted the Leadership Training X Meet and Greet, bringing together student leaders and young changemakers for a day of learning, engagement, and meaningful connections.

The programme provided participants with valuable insights into effective leadership, personal development, and the role of young people in driving positive change within their communities and the nation at large. Through interactive discussions and experience-sharing sessions, attendees explored practical ways to lead with purpose, inspire others, and create lasting impact.

Beyond the training, the event served as a platform for networking, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas among students who are passionate about leadership and community development.

📚 SAY NO TO EXAMINATION MALPRACTICE 📚

Tomorrow, the Creative Club, Gombe State University (CCGSU) in collaboration with the Students Community Service Club (SCSC), will be carrying out an advocacy campaign to promote academic integrity and discourage examination malpractice.

Success built on honesty lasts longer than success gained through shortcuts. While a certificate may open a door, competence is what keeps it open.

We encourage all students to trust their abilities, prepare adequately, and uphold integrity in every examination.
