Yesterday evening was both productive and transformative for us at the Creative Club Gombe State University (CCGSU), as we had the honour of being invited by the Vice-Chancellor of Gombe State University,, Professor Sani Ahmed Yauta, to present our achievements and share our strategic plans for the future.
A major focus of the meeting was our collaboration with Dyeing for Change, through which we are creatively translating climate realities into powerful art pieces that communicate the far-reaching effects of climate change on our communities and environment.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed his appreciation and strong support for our vision, especially our commitment to using creativity as a tool for addressing pressing social challenges and inspiring change.
This marks a significant step forward for us — a huge one indeed — and we are excited about the impact our upcoming initiatives will create.

Yesterday, we had a strategic meeting with our Grand Patron, the University Librarian, Dr. Henry Maina Abareh, where we discussed the future of the club and how we can collectively drive our initiatives toward greater impact and success.
This is our first official engagement with him since when we assumed office as new leadership of the club. And he wholeheartedly appreciated us for creating ways to impact the lives of students of the entire university community through our transformative initiatives and partnerships.
As we had these inspiring conversations, expect big things coming.
