One day, a billionaire bid farewell to his loyal secretary as she retired. Grateful for her years of service, he offered her a gift of several million dollars.
To his surprise, she declined, saying, “That’s very kind, but I don’t need it. I already have a few billion of my own.”
Stunned, the billionaire asked, “How is that possible? You’ve never earned more than a few thousand a month.”
She smiled gently and replied,
“All those years,I listened in your meetings. Whenever you bought land or stocks, I did the same — just on a smaller scale. I followed your moves. So when you made millions, I made hundreds of thousands. And when you made billions, I made millions.” 💰
