By its establishment, it is the desire of the owners of this institution in collaboration with the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), that the Nation's drive towards Technological Development would be attained at a somewhat fast pace.

Its graduates should prove themselves worthy men & women who are able to be resourceful in applying their skills.

Those ideas must be reflected in the type of training & knowledge graduates are expected to have all in a desire to build a dynamic & prosperous Nation.

In view of this, the Institution is focused on employing qualified & experienced staff who are cultured & are able to abide by the administrative practices & are able to transmit same to the students.

St. Mary Polytechnic is the 1st private Tertiary Institution in Niger State of Nigeria.

The Institute is conceived primarily, but not exclusively for the upliftment of the poor & the underprivileged in our society mainly to achieve the these objectives:
