The Institute is conceived primarily, but not exclusively for the upliftment of the poor & the underprivileged in our society mainly to achieve the these objectives:
-to contribute to the moral and technological transformation of Nigeria.

-to uplift and empower the youths by filling the gap created in the areas of moral and functional education.

-engineering/ polytechnic education with an optimum combination of theoretical and practical knowledge with an aim of developing high quality technical human resource.

-to uphold the principles of equity, egalitarianism, liberty, morality, sanctity of life, social responsibility, self-discipline and peaceful co-existence.

-to establish engineering and management schools with state of the art infrastructure.

-to enrich teaching learning process through innovative practices.

-to conduct sequential courses in collaboration with industry.

-the institute will pursue a continuous quest for truth through its research and the preservation and communication of knowledge for the good of the people.
