ESAN VISITS SBEM STUDENTS FOR 5 DAYS CAREER COUNSELING/GUIDANCE.

The Representatives of the Education Students Association of Nigeria today visits the School For Basic Education Mana on it's 5-Day Career Guidance and Counseling to some selected secondary schools in Sokoto state.

Introducing the aim and objectives of the visit to the students, the coordinator of the state comrade Mubarak Aliyu Kaffe explained that the visit is aimed at enhancing the students decision making ability which will help them in the nearest future.
And that the the visit is for all the metropolitan secondary schools senior classes on the verge of graduating from junior class to secondary or secondary to higher institution of learning.

Series of presentations were made to counsel and guide the students in different perspectives of life and Career Guidance.

We at the School for basic education Mana, wants to narrow the education gap in the state by providing quality digital education. Our goal is to enable millions of children in vulnerable environments to explore and choose the future they deserve. SCHOOL FOR BASIC EDUCATION, MANA EMERGES JUNIOR OVER ALL WINNER.

The school at the just concluded interschool English and Arabic impromptu, English and Arabic reading, English and Arabic Spelling Bee, English and Arabic essay writing competitions for Junior Secondary Schools organized by Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria (MSSN). Sokoto South Area Council.

The school went away with

- 1st position in junior English impromptu.
-1st position in junior English reading.
-1st position in junior Arabic impromptu.
-1st position in junior Arabic reading.
-2nd position in junior spelling bee.
-3rd position in junior English essay writing.
- junior over all winner.

Our students took third position.They were previledged to represent Sokoto South Local government at the just concluded inter-local government debate competition, organized by Sokoto State Universal Education Board (SUBEB).

3 DAY IN-HOUSE TRAINING FOR THE TEACHING STAFFS OF SCHOOL FOR BASIC EDUCATION MANA SOKOTO, SOKOTO STATE.

The management of the school for basic education mana area, Sokoto today held its final session of the 3-day in-house training for its teaching staff.

The training is targeting to enhance the capacity of the teaching staff in all areas of educational activities in the school specifically preparing a well presentable and achievable lesson plan and lesson notes.

Malam Musa Muhammad Usman, a Lecturer from the department of educational foundations, faculty of education and extension services Sokoto state university, facilitated the training with the school teaching staff.

In his final remarks the principal of the school urges the staff to use the acquired knowledge to improve their teaching capacities and ensure to use the distributed material (Lesson Plan / Lesson Note booklet) in preparing a well structured lesson plan to present and objective lesson to the students.

Some of the participant staff express their profound gratitudes to the School management for organizing such an interested and informative session also requested that similar symposiums should be organize soon as it enables them to build up and boost their capacity.

THE CURRENTLY ONGOIN 3 DAY IN-HOUSE TRAINING FOR THE TEACHING STAFFS OF SCHOOL FOR BASIC EDUCATION MANA.



Learning is not an event. It is a process. It is the continual growth and change in the brain's architecture that results from the many ways we take in information, process it, connect it, catalogue it, and use it.
In order to achieve these, the management of the school for basic education mana, organizes a 3-day in-house training for the effective lesson plan preparation for the teaching staff of the school.
The training is been facilitating Training facilitator;
Mal Musa Muhammad Usman.
Department of Educational Foundation, faculty of education and extension services, Sokoto State University.

The attempted effort is aimed at easing up the needed equipment (customized lesson plan / lesson note booklet) to create a harmonious environment in passing the educational information to the students of the school.

Having three sections in the school, the management categorized the training in to a 3 Day training viz;

Day 1, 05/07/2022: Jss classrooms teachers
Day 2, 06 /07/2022: Primary 4-6 classrooms teachers
Day 3, 07/07/2022: ECCD, primary 1-3 classrooms respectively.
