On Thursday, our outstanding learners, students who performed excellently well in the just concluded Central Continuous Assessment, enjoyed a wonderful blend of excitement, exploration, and real-life learning during our First Term Picnic & Excursion.

We began the day with a cheerful School Picnic on our campus, filled with smiles, games, and beautiful moments of togetherness.
Afterwards:

🎡 Our Primary Pupils visited a recreational centre where they had an amazing time playing and bonding.

🏭 Our JSS & SS Students toured Rahamaniyya Fertilizer Company, where they witnessed firsthand how fertilizers are produced. It was an eye-opening and inspiring learning experience.

🌍 FIS CELEBRATES UNITED NATIONS DAY 🌍

Yesterday, we joined the world in celebrating United Nations Day with a series of inspiring activities. Our learners participated in awareness sessions about the mission and impact of the United Nations, followed by community service activities where they took pride in caring for their school environment.

The celebration also emphasized kindness and empathy, as our pupils extended caring hands to their friends, living out the true spirit of unity, peace, and shared responsibility.

🔥 Fire & Safety Drill at Forth International School 🔥

At FIS, the safety of our learners and staff remains our top priority. Last week, we had a Fire and Safety Drill in collaboration with the Federal Fire Service, aimed at training our pupils, students, and teachers on how to respond swiftly and safely during emergencies.

The exercise provided practical demonstrations on fire prevention, safe evacuation procedures, and general safety awareness, helping everyone understand how to protect lives and property in times of danger.

We sincerely appreciate the officers of the Federal Fire Service, Sokoto Command for their time, professionalism, and valuable orientation.

At Forth International School, we believe that safety education is life education ☺️.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE PASSING OF OUR HEAD OF NURSERY SECTION & SCHOOL EXAMINATION OFFICER MRS. OKOLI AMARACHUKWU

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved colleague, teacher, and mother, Mrs. Okoli, who until her demise served as the Head of Nursery Section and Examination Officer of our school.

She passed away after undergoing a cesarean section. While the baby is sound and healthy, we are deeply grieved by the loss of such a devoted educator, a compassionate leader, and a source of inspiration to staff and pupils alike.

As a mark of honour and respect for her memory, the Management has declared Friday, 12th September 2025, as a school-free day.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones at this difficult time. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. 🕊️
