*Mr. Kasim Reiterates Importance of Duty Consciousness Non-Academic Staff*

The Head of Department of Mass Communication, Mr. 'Kasim Shehu Malami, today held a meeting with staff members of the department, with particular emphasis on non-academic staff and their responsibilities.

During the meeting, Mr. Kasim highlighted the importance of diligence, honesty, and commitment in the discharge of official duties. He reminded staff members that honesty remains a key factor in ensuring efficiency and accountability within the department.

The Head of Department also stressed the need for every staff member to take full responsibility for his or her assigned area of work. He advised non-academic staff to remain focused on their designated duties and avoid abandoning their duty posts without authorization.

Furthermore, Mr. Kasim Shehu Malami cautioned staff against interfering in responsibilities assigned to others, emphasizing that each employee should concentrate on his or her area of assignment to promote orderliness and effective service delivery.

He concluded by urging all staff members to uphold professionalism, dedication, and teamwork in order to enhance the overall performance and reputation of the Department of Mass Communication.
