🎉 PARENTS MONDAY NUGGET🎉
Hello my amazing parents welcome to our Monday segment.
Remember you have all it takes for your child to be outstanding and unstoppable.
“Your teenager may be sitting with a book for 2 hours… but are they actually learning?” 🥱
One of the biggest mistakes we make as parents is assuming that “Go and read” automatically produces a focused and productive learner.
It doesn’t.
A teenager needs to learn HOW to read with purpose, HOW to engage with what they are reading, HOW to manage distractions, and HOW to turn study time into meaningful learning.
Here are 5 simple things you can begin practising at home:
🎯 Give them a specific reading target—not just “Go and read.”
🎯 Help them create a distraction-free environment.
🎯 Encourage short, focused reading sessions with intentional breaks.
🎯 Ask questions about what they have read. Let them explain it in their own words.
👏👏 Praise consistency and effort, not only examination results.
Parents, your goal is not to make your teenager sit with a book. Your goal is to help them become a teenager who can sit down, focus, engage, understand and produce results.
🎯 And this is exactly what we work on in my paid mentoring classes—building the mindset, discipline, focus and practical skills teenagers need to succeed beyond the classroom.
👉 If you want your teenager to move from “I was reading” to “I actually learnt something,” send me a DM and let's talk about the mentoring class.
What is the biggest distraction affecting your teenager's reading time right now—📱 phone, 😴 sleep, 🎮 games, or lack of interest? Tell me in the comments.
And let's begin a transformation journey together with your transformation strategist
