In our Madrasah in Saki, our students learned today in Tawheed & Aqeedah:

The Prophet ﷺ said:
(آيَةُ الإِيمَانِ حُبُّ الأَنْصَارِ، وَآيَةُ النِّفَاقِ بُغْضُ الأَنْصَارِ)
“The sign of faith is love for the Ansar, and the sign of hypocrisy is hatred for the Ansar.”
(Bukhari & Muslim)

The Ansar were the noble companions from Madinah who welcomed the Prophet ﷺ and supported Islam with their lives and wealth. Loving them is part of faith, while hating or abusing them is a sign of hypocrisy.

👉 Our students were reminded today that abusing the Sahabah is a major sin, and anyone who does so is following the path of hypocrisy. Sadly, the Mudirul Markaz in Agege has been sighted as a bad example in insulting the Sahabah, and our students have been taught clearly not to imitate him or anyone who speaks against the companions of the Prophet ﷺ.

True Muslims honor all the companions ( Muhajirun and Ansar ) and never abuse them.
