HOW TO BE A GOOD TEACHER.
Teaching is one of the most important professions in today’s society. As a teacher, you will shape the minds of others and encourage them to think independently. To become a good teacher, it’s important to be organized. Create lesson plans, objectives, activities, and assessment plans well before each class day. Get your students interested in learning by fostering a positive, supportive, yet challenging classroom environment. A teacher can achieve this by...
Listen to your students. Ask them open-ended questions after they’ve made a statement. Encourage them to ask you questions as well. Show that you are listening to them by nodding your head or gesturing for them to continue. Give them eye contact while they are speaking and try your best not to interrupt, unless you must redirect the conversation.
- Being an active listener shows your students that you respect their voice in the classroom. They will be more likely to give you respect as a teacher in return.
- It’s also a good idea to model for your students how to respectfully listen to someone while disagreeing with them. You might say, “I’m not sure I agree with what you are saying, can you tell me more? Or, does anyone else want to jump in?”
Keep students on task. Set time limits for classroom exercises or activities. In discussions, use your responses to their remarks as a classroom management tool. For example, you might say, “I really like what you are saying. How do you think it connects with objective number five?
Push your students to succeed. Try to create an environment in which your students will be constantly intellectually challenged. Let them know that it is okay to fail on occasion. You want to strike a balance between setting too high of goals for them and being a push-over. Use your students’ progress to guide your way. They should be steadily improving, but not without considerable effort.
For example, you might give a short, advanced-level reading assignment to high school students and ask them to use a dictionary to look up unfamiliar words. If used sparingly, this is a great way to challenge students to expand their vocabulary.

There are many people in this world who think they aren't smart, brilliant or intelligent. Truly, only a very few of the world population are really intelligent, brilliant or smart. There are some basic qualities that these people have possessed for one to know that they are very intelligent. Though these qualities are rare, as they are only possessed by the highly intelligent personnel. Five of which include:
Curiosity
Intelligent people are known to possess what is called curiosity quotient (CQ), they always want to have an idea about what they are oblivious to, and when they hear about something new they tend to rush back home and make more findings on the thing they just heard.
High observation skills
They are very observant beings; they like to watch things play out properly before them. While they watch they think of ways to counter whatever issue they have at hand. They developed a very strong listening skill so their reasoning is an inch ahead.
Self-control
An intelligent person would know how to handle their emotions, they know when is right to act, and when they need to be quiet.
This can be named .
Sharp memory
This is a quality very popular with very intelligent individuals. They are very good with remembrance. They hardly forget things, when people speak about how surprising it is that you remember particular things easily, this is a very good sign.
Humility
Hardly would you come across an intelligent person who is arrogant. They are so sure of themselves based on the knowledge they have, but don’t go about bragging about it.
Most especially, their Humility yield them the fear of Allah. "The fear of Allah is the source of all blessing."
To end with, don't look down on yourself because, "No one is created with a dandana's head, we're all created to be talented."
