There’s no age that is too early to start exposing children to books.
Research also proves that, starting from birth, children should be exposed to books.

Reading aloud to preschoolers builds cognitive skills, jumpstarts brain development, builds massive vocabulary and encourages them to love reading as they grow.

We know this, at BES, that’s why we have a reading hour every day, especially at our preschool section.

Dearest Chris, welcome to a new year of your life. We all felicitate with you on this day.
You will grow and become better than your previous years in Jesus name!

Independent Learning Time shifts children from being passive recipients of knowledge to active collaborators in the acquisition of knowledge.

Occasionally, we foster a structured independent study in order to help our Champs gain a sense of control, increase their curiousity, realize what they do or don’t understand and build resilience.

…because it s STUDENT-CENTERED APPROACH!

We have gradually cultivated the love for books in the hearts of our Champs, and so they subconsciously find themselves drawn to anywhere they find books!

It’s important that children (from the basic levels of academics) know how to write in a way that their reader can make sense of what they are writing. In order to be a good writer, they need to be able to spell commonly used words with ease.

…and this is why we have come up with a bi-weekly spelling exercise (which will develop into an End-Of-Year Intra-school spelling contest among the top spellers) at B.E.S. The essence is to keep the minds of our Champs at alert in matters relating to books and reading.
