Hey Remo alumni family! While sorting through some old keepsakes, I stumbled upon this classic memo from our principal, D.C.C. Polorunso, dated October 1999. It’s a real trip down memory lane, capturing the essence of school life back then – from fee reminders and discipline talks to PTA dramas and holiday announcements.
Quick highlights from the memo:
• Short holidays starting October 10th, with the new session kicking off on the 11th.
• Common Entrance results out – parents, check the notice board!
• Urgent calls for fee payments amid hopes for free education policies.
• Warnings about coming to school without textbooks (seniors needed at least 8 subjects!).
• Discipline updates: Suspensions, property damage surcharges, and even a massive 1,100,000 Naira rebate owed by outgoing SS3 students.
• PTA shoutouts and pleas for better attendance, patience, and prayers against “destructive rumours.”
