OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP ?

You may be able to assist with any of the following:
A) Volunteering a few hours of your time
B) Providing expertise to the group
C) Identifying contacts - any organisation or individual with a connection to the school and the local community, with an interest in education, languages, sports or science and technology, who may be interested in contributing.
D) Considering making a regular contribution via a covenant or occasional one-off contribution.
E) Helping to Investigate whether your employer operates a fund to support this kind of project

It is also hoped that former students may wish to support their school.
Whether or not you are in a position to contribute financially, we hope you will join us in person to further the fundraising work by giving a few hours of your time, and perhaps the benefit of your expertise, as we investigate additional sources of funding from companies and charitable trusts.
Do let us know if you have a particular interest, for example, in Sports or Science & Technology, and what benefit you can render to get the project going.

Hi guys! I am sincerely sorry that I haven't been able to update this page. I will be putting up more stuffs very soon.
This page is to bring all the old students of Makun High school, parents and well wishers together to help the school regain its former glory.

The Makun HIgh School Redevelopment Appeal Committee is a group of Old students parents, governors and staff working together and committed to raise funds to improve Makun High school’s facilities. Whilst the school is very proud of its heritage and traditions, we are keen to move with the times and provide the best we can. After careful deliberations, the committee reached a conclusion and identified priorities for its redevelopment.
I will be putting up the priorities here very soon.
Above all, the school needs Additional Science Teaching Facilities, teaching equipment for the science laboratory.
New library books, visual teaching aid equipment; computers, printers, projectors.
Standard football pitch, sporting jerseys, sporting boots.
New school food Canteen. Toilets, water and many more.
Makun High school has a long tradition of generations of parents supporting school's Better Buildings Appeal so that current and future students can enjoy improved facilities. In the last few years, the school has experienced series of changes and nearly all its facilities have lost their purpose. We the committee are putting this appeal forward to generous people who are seriously concerned about the affair of the school. We need these good people to donate what they can, so it could enable the school move in the right direction. Many have gained from the school and it would be nice to give back in one way or the other. Current principal of the school is extremely grateful and would also like old student, parents and charitable organisations to lend a helping hand in the schools redevelopment.
All donations would be thankfully accepted.
