One of the reasons I learn without reservation is simple:
I want to teach beyond expectation.

I don't want people to leave my class saying, “I learned something.”

I want them to leave saying,
“I didn't know I could do this.”

Because for working professionals, four things matter deeply: Speed. Time. Value. Money.
We want to get more done, in less time, without sacrificing quality.

And that is one of the reasons I have become so interested in AI.

Not because AI is fashionable.
But because, when properly applied, it can change the way we work.

So before my recent class, I spent considerable time researching, testing, and experimenting with practical ways AI could help working professionals.

Then, during the class, we put the learning into practice. In less than one hour, we built a complete workflow automation.

A real workflow.

Something that could take a repetitive business process and let technology handle much of the work automatically.

And then something beautiful happened.

People who may have thought AI was complicated began to see it differently.

You could almost feel the realization:
“Wait... I can actually do this?”

That moment means a lot to me.

Because education should not only transfer knowledge. It should expand what people believe is possible.

We had over 100 people in attendance.
And I am deeply grateful to God.

But I also know there are many more professionals who need to see what is possible.

So I am doing it again.
Next Saturday.

This time, I am setting a personal target:

Not because 500 is a magical number.
But because I believe the message deserves to reach more people.

more people who simply need someone to show them that AI is not as difficult as they thought.

I will keep learning without reservation.
So I can keep teaching without limitation.

Because every time I learn something that can genuinely make someone's work better, faster, or easier,
I feel an obligation to share it.

I want to sincerely apologise for not responding to everyone who sent me messages early this week. I will respond soon.

The training I went for was agreed for 9am to 3pm, but I left the office at 8pm yesterday.

Yes, 9am-8pm.
The discussion is so integrated, and the participation so intense, that even at 5pm, more practical applications of the topics are still being referenced, questioned, challenged and discussed by the participants.

The participants are some of the best I have worked with.
Their wealth of experience is above standard, but their insistence on application, not just learning, is the most amazing part.

As their coach, I am not just guiding, exposing or directing. I am also learning.
Not just HSE and Oil & Gas industry analytics, but also how to work with experienced industry professionals.

Interestingly, this is the second Oil & Gas company I am training this year. In February, I coached the Finance team of a different Oil & Gas company on ageing analytics and Business Intelligence using Microsoft Power BI.

Why am I sharing this with you?
“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings.”

You have a business, an assignment, a skill, a job responsibility.
Whatever it is, always aim for excellence.
What is excellence?
Simply put, doing your work so well that your work speaks for you when you are not in the room.

I have learned that excellence is not about being perfect.
• It is about caring.
• It is about preparation.
• It is about showing up and giving your best, even when nobody is watching.
So, three simple things you can apply today:

1. Take your work seriously.
Whatever has been placed in your hands, treat it with honour. Your boss asks you to prepare a letter to take to a client. When showing him the final copy, don't just hand him the paper. Put it in a neat envelope. Small things matter. Excellence is often hidden in the details.

2. Keep learning.
Do not become so good at what you do that you stop becoming better. You just conquered Goliath. What next? David did not stop growing after one victory. Every new level will demand something new from you.

3. Apply what you know.
Learning is valuable, but application is where transformation begins. You know Excel? Use it to solve a business problem. You know AI? Build something with it. Don't just consume knowledge. Turn what you know into value.

You never know who is watching.
You never know what opportunity your excellence is preparing you for.
Just keep building.

Just landed in PH this morning for a full week of training with the HSE Department of one of the oil and gas companies, on Data Analytics.

And then, something beautiful happened.

At the airport, I had the joy of meeting and reuniting with some of the amazing data analysts in our community.

People I have taught.
People I have mentored.
People who are now building their own journeys.

And honestly, moments like this remind me why I keep doing what I do.
Sometimes, you start something without knowing where it will take you.

You teach someone.
You encourage someone.
You share what you know.

And months or years later, you meet that person again, not as a student anymore, but as a professional, a colleague, a fellow builder.
That feeling is priceless.

This is bigger than Data Analytics.
It is about people.
It is about impact.
It is about starting something and staying with it long enough to see the fruits.

So, if you are building something today and nobody seems to notice, keep building.
Someone is watching.
Someone is learning.
Someone may be walking a better path today because you decided to share what you know.

Just keep building.
The journey is beautiful.
