THE IMPORTANCE OF PURPOSE DISCOVERY AND THE LIFE: THE BIBLE PERSPECTIVE

Good day, brothers and sisters in Christ.
Today, I want to speak to your hearts—not just your minds—about something that defines our very existence: purpose. I am not here to give you motivational sugar; I am here to point you to eternal truth. We were not born to just exist, survive, pay bills, and die. We were born to fulfill a divine assignment—to live a life of purpose that glorifies God and transforms lives.
Let me take you to Jeremiah 1:5, where God says, "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Do you hear that? Before your father met your mother, before your name was chosen, Heaven had already stamped a purpose on your life.
But the tragedy of our generation is not lack of talent or opportunity—it is the ignorance of purpose. When purpose is unknown, abuse is inevitable. Many are running fast in life—but in the wrong direction. Many have degrees, businesses, and followers, but they are empty because they are not aligned with their divine purpose.
What is purpose? It is the original intent of the Creator. It is what you were created to be, do, and become. It is not decided by you—it is discovered through your relationship with the One who created you.
Let me remind you of Moses—a man born to be a deliverer. For forty years he was confused, living in Pharaoh’s palace, trying to fit into an identity that wasn’t his. But when he met God at the burning bush, his life changed. He discovered purpose—and one man became the voice that shook Egypt.
Or take Esther, an orphan girl who became queen not by chance, but by purpose. Mordecai told her in Esther 4:14, "Who knows but that you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" Listen to me: You were born for such a time as this. You are not late. You are not a mistake. You are not average. You are a divine answer to a problem in
