IS EDUCATION REALLY WHAT IT USED TO BE?

There was a time when education was seen as more than just passing examinations.

Teachers were respected, discipline was valued, parents were deeply involved, and children understood that learning was a privilege as well as a responsibility.

But today, we have technology, smart classrooms, artificial intelligence, online learning, and access to information at our fingertips.

Yet I sometimes wonder…

Are we actually producing better learners, or are we simply producing students who know how to pass examinations?

Education has changed—and change isn't necessarily a bad thing. But perhaps we need to ask ourselves whether we are changing in the right direction.

Are we teaching children to think, question, create, solve problems, communicate, and become responsible human beings?

Or are we placing so much emphasis on grades, certificates, and competition that we are forgetting the real purpose of education?

As educators, parents, and members of society, we all have a role to play in shaping what education becomes tomorrow.

👉Do you think education today is better than it was in the past, or have we lost some of the values that made education meaningful? Why?
