NABES HOD’S CUP 2025 FINALS: 400L BOYS & 300L GIRLS CROWNED CHAMPIONS
Yesterday the Faculty President with his entourage graced the Department of Business Education HOD’s Cup 2025 Edition finals.
The competition came to an end with action-packed male and female finals organized by the Office of the Director of Sports, Department of Business Education.
In the male final, the 400 Level boys outclassed the 300 Level boys with a 3–0 win—Taiye scored a brace (19’, 29’) while Olapo sealed the victory in the 84th minute. On the female side, the BED ElClasico ended 0–0 in regulation time, but the 300 Level girls kept their cool to win 3–0 on penalties against the 100 Level girls.
Dignitaries present included the Faculty President Leo Favour Tee Bedi, Sen. Thompson Chimaobi-Ogwuma, Faculty D.O.Sport, Comr. Abaa Emmanuel, Faculty ASG Comr. Greatness, and the SED Secretary General, Comr. Samuel Alobari.
It was a remarkable celebration of talent, teamwork, and the unifying spirit of NABES. We thank the Department Staff adviser, Dr. Chima and the staffs and non-academic staff especially Dr. Goodluck Worlu for always supporting the department's growth and success.

FACULTY MEDIA TEAM REPORT: THE FACULTY PRESIDENT IN COLLABORATION WITH FACULTY DIRECTOR OF SOCIALS, CONVEGNED A MEETING WITH DEPARTMENTAL SOCIALS.
In a bid to foster unity, celebration, and vibrant student engagement, the Faculty President in collaboration with Faculty of Director of Socials convened a pivotal meeting with the Departmental Directors of Socials across the Faculty of Education.
The meeting, which was marked by enthusiasm and constructive dialogue, focused on the proper planning and organization of upcoming faculty wide events.
Key event among the agenda discussed were the preparations for the much anticipated Faculty Dinner and Award Night, an event set to celebrate excellence, recognize outstanding students, and promote social interaction. Other exciting events such as quiz, cultural day celebrations, and entertainment nights were also highlighted, all aimed at enriching the student experience within the faculty.
The meeting was indeed a success, signaling a united effort to create memorable experiences for the entire student body.

FACULTY MEDIA TEAM REPORT: LEADERSHIP IN ACTION FOR ACADEMIC IMPROVEMENT.
Over the weekend, In a commendable show of leadership and commitment to academic excellence, the SUG-PRESIDENT Rt. Hon. Harmony Lawrence and his team alongside with the Faculty President of Education, Leo. Tee Favour Bedi. and some faculty executive members, welcome the SUG president to choba campus and joined the president to monitor the replacement of lecture whiteboards across the classrooms in choba campus. The faculty president thanked the SUG president for his support towards education faculty and for giving the faculty a 100% replacement of lecture whiteboards across the classrooms. This initiative, carried out, was a prayer answered to education students. The president, also went ahead to discuss other critical matters especially the needs for chairs in this classroom. With the classrooms been fully recover to it's initial state, learning conditions of students would also be improve.
Other key decisions were made to further enhance the academic environment and student experience across the faculty, also critical matters were discussed and the way forward for the betterment of the Faculty. The Faculty Media Team was on ground to capture this impactful moment of service and dedication to student welfare.

Faculty Media Team Report:
FACULTY PROVOST, COMR. GODSWILL O. ONYEKACHI. ENGAGES DEPARTMENTAL ELECTORAL COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSONS ON ELECTORAL GUIDELINES AND INTEGRITY.
In a strategic meeting facilitated by the Office of the Faculty Provost, all departmental ELECO Chairpersons across the faculty gathered today to discuss the modalities and guidelines for the forthcoming departmental elections.
The session focused on ensuring free, fair, and transparent elections, with special emphasis on integrity, student interest, and compliance with laid-down electoral principles. The Provost underscored the importance of orderly coordination and cooperation among all ELECO heads to foster credibility in the electoral process.
In a spirit of unity and shared responsibility, the ELECO chairpersons collectively resolved to uphold the highest standards of electoral conduct and to work together towards the smooth and credible ex*****on of the elections for the progress of their respective student bodies.

YEAR ONE ORIENTATION: DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATIONAL CURRICULUM
The Department of Educational Curriculum held its Year One Orientation today, organised by the departmental Vice President, aimed at formally welcoming new students into the academic and social life of the department. The event was graced by notable student leaders including Leo Favour Tee (The Faculty President) and Senator Thompson Chimaobi-Ogwuma Ogemdịn'akaChukwu, representing Zone A, alongside other distinguished student executives.
The presence of these leaders added weight to the occasion as they offered words of encouragement, shared insights into student leadership and academic expectations, and emphasized the importance of active participation in departmental and faculty activities. The orientation served as a vital platform to foster unity, guidance, and a sense of belonging among the new students.
