IDx-DR: Is an FDA-approved artificial intelligence system designed for the automated detection of diabetic retinopathy in individuals with diabetes. What it does is that it analyzes retinal images and provides a determination regarding the presence of the disease, allowing for timely referral to eye care professionals when necessary. The system is aimed at improving early diagnosis and treatment to prevent vision loss. It’s so good, that it doesn’t even need a specialist to use it! It's over 87% accurate.
Zebra Medical Vision: Is a health tech company that specializes in artificial intelligence and deep learning algorithms for medical imaging. They provide diagnostic insights across various medical fields; they have been very useful to radiologists and other healthcare professionals in improving their diagnostic accuracy and efficiency. Their platform is effective in analyzing medical images to detect diseases, thus enhancing patient care. They analyzes scans like X-rays to detect things like lung cancer or bone loss, as accurately as a human doctor.
PathAI: This is a company that uses artificial intelligence to improve pathology diagnostics. It focuses on creating advanced algorithms that assist pathologists in diagnosing diseases accurately and efficiently, particularly cancer. Their technology aims to reduce diagnostic errors and enhance the overall quality of patient care by analyzing pathology images. Their products help doctors spot cancer in tissue samples, reducing the chances of mistakes.
Viz.AI: Just like others Viz is a healthcare technology company that utilizes artificial intelligence to streamline the diagnosis and treatment processes for patients, particularly in the field of stroke care. It focuses on improving patient outcomes through advanced imaging technology and real-time notifications to healthcare professionals. It detects strokes quickly, helping doctors treat patients faster and improve their chances of recovery.
