Did you know?
Today is the first ever International Day of Play
International Day of play is a fantastic way to become more mindful of what play looks like for your family. It has the potential to help kickstart new playful/eager learning habits.
To remain consistent, it's a good idea to start small. Here are some simple idea for you to get started.
1. Spend 10 minutes of your time with your child each day playing game of their choice.
2. Include independent play in your schedule
3. Review your home - Does your child have a dedicated space where they can play?
4. Design an invitation to play with toys, loose parts and house hold items to spark imagination.
5. Visit somewhere, a park or an interesting place where your child could have fun and get see colourful stuff that sparks him/her instead of going straight home after school.
Please don't take situations or fraustrations you get out on your child🙏
