We celebrate the life and legacy of a devoted shepherd and distinguished administrator who answered God’s call with courage and fidelity.

Monsignor Ngwoke was a leader who uniquely harmonized faith and reason. As Deputy Vice-Chancellor, he viewed leadership as a vocation, fostering a culture of discipline, moral clarity, and academic excellence. He is remembered by staff and students alike as firm yet compassionate; a man in whom the cassock and the council chamber spoke with one voice.

His earthly labours are complete, but his legacy of integrity remains a guiding light. We commend his noble soul to God, trusting that he has been welcomed into eternal rest with the words: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Madonna University’s Law Faculty Recognized for Superior Standards

The Council of Legal Education (CLE) has approved a substantial increase in the admission quota for the university’s esteemed Faculty of Law, raising it to 100 students.

The decision, announced on January 7, 2026, is a direct result of a meticulous verification and accreditation exercise. In late 2025, a Council-led team conducted a thorough inspection of the law faculty’s academic standards, facilities, and staff at the university’s Okija Campus.The Council’s subsequent approval signals its profound satisfaction with the institution’s high-quality infrastructure and adherence to rigorous academic benchmarks.
