We are thrilled 😀 to welcome our learners back to school. It's going to be for us a term for greater achievement 🙌
The children were excited 😊 to be back. We didn't even record a case of any child crying in our preschool 😍. We really started this term well and will also end it well 👌
To God alone be all the glory🙏

MYTH BUSTING 🤞

❌️Myth: “Some children are just ‘not smart’ or ‘not good at school.’”

✅️Truth: Intelligence isn’t fixed—it’s highly adaptable.
Research in Educational Psychology shows that children’s abilities grow with the right support, practice, and mindset.
This idea is often called the *Growth Mindset*.

Kids who struggle in school usually aren’t “less intelligent”—they may just:

*Need a different teaching approach

*Learn at a different pace

*Be dealing with stress, language barriers, or lack of resources

The brain itself is capable of change, thanks to *Neuroplasticity*—meaning it can form new connections as children learn and practice.

BOTTOM LINE: With the right environment, encouragement, and strategies, almost every child can improve significantly. 🔥

A COMMON MISTAKE IN TEACHING AND HOW TO AVOID IT 🤗

A very common mistake in teaching is assuming students understand because they are quiet or nodding along.
Silence is often mistaken for comprehension, but many students may actually be confused, shy, or disengaged.

Why this is a problem ❓️🤷‍♀️

When teachers move on too quickly, gaps in understanding build up. Over time, this can lead to frustration, poor performance, and loss of confidence.

I see this mistake often; here's a better way✅️

Use active checking for understanding instead of relying on passive signals.

This way, teaching becomes more interactive, and you get real feedback on whether learning is actually happening.🤞

PS: When there is know change in behaviour, learning has not taking please. 👌

What do you think about this ?
