Organizes a Three-Day International Workshop/Conference

Sani Abacha Road, G.R.A. Phase 3, Port Harcourt, Rivers State



The workshop Section which will last for two days (30th September and 1st October) will be in two separate Classes: Basic/Intermediate and Advanced.

The first class will dwell on Knotty Research Issues and Modeling, Current Statistical & Econometric Applications for Researchers and Analysts including Descriptive statistics, Regression, Model Diagnostics, Stationarity and causality analysis. Others include VAR, Cointegration, Error correction, ARDL, Impulse Response and variance decomposition analyses, Long-run Estimation and Analyses, etc.

The second class will focus on Advanced topics including univariate, bivariate and multivariate GARCH Family analysis, Advanced structural VAR analysis, and other advanced estimation techniques, confirmatory factor analysis, principal component analysis and structural equation modeling...etc.

The Conference Section holds on the 2nd October and involves the presentation of papers by authors. The Academy calls for well-researched and Empirical papers on any topic in the areas of business, social sciences, and education. Well-written theoretical papers may be accepted for presentation at the Conference.

Publication Outlets: Apart from the Conference Proceedings, PAPERS presented at the Conference qualify for consideration for publication in any of the three International Journals of the ACADEMY that is published in the United States of America.

1. International Journal of Accounting, Finance and Economics Perspectives. 2. International Journal of Business and Behavioral Sciences' Research.

3. International Journal of Education Research.

4. Authors can equally submit articles to Journal of Industrial, Business and Economic Research that is published in Nigeria.



Deadline for Submission of abstracts or complete papers: 27th September, 2021, for inclusion in the Conference Proceeding. Thereafter, papers may be presented but may not appear in the Proceedings. They can, however, be submitted to the journals for possible publication.

Workshop Requirements: Participants are advised and encouraged to come along with: (a) data on topics they are working on for application that will result in full-fledged papers/articles for publication in international journals. (b) Laptops (highly recommended) for practical hands-on demonstrations of programming, estimations, interpretation and analysis.

Workshop/Conference Fees: Conference/workshop fee is $200 only. Members and non-working students pay N50,000 only. Fee covers registration, conference/workshop materials, annual membership dues, certificates of attendance/participation/membership (for prospective new members), and lunch for the workshop days. Usually, for the purposes of the conference, each author or co-authors is allowed to present one paper. Additional papers for presentation at the conference attract N10,000 for each paper. Co-authors who are in attendance are to register.
