Rivers State guides present to you our youth leader Saka Elsie Amenyaobari who hails from Eleme LGA in Rivers State, Nigeria.
She is a devoted volunteer who is presently volunteering at Wagggs world centre Our Chalet in Switzerland for the spring season.

We are excited that this will foster peace, relationship with Swiss culture, make new friends explore more opportunities and promote the sisterhood.

Tomorrow, 22nd February, is celebrated worldwide by Guides and Scouts — a special day set aside to reflect on our Movement, our service, our girls, and the friendships that unite us. The date is significant as it marks the joint birthday of our Founder, Lord Robert Baden-Powell, and his wife, Lady Olave Baden-Powell.

Each year, we are guided by a theme, and the 2026 theme, “Friendship,” calls us to strengthen our bonds as sisters and friends in service, spreading love and unity wherever we go. ❤️

The Nigerian Girl Guides Association, Rivers State Chapter joyfully celebrated World Thinking Day 100th Anniversary with a series of meaningful and engaging activities.

The celebration featured quiz competition, educational presentations in schools, energizers, enrollment ceremony for new members and lots more.
The event provided an opportunity for Guides to learn, interact, and strengthen the spirit of friendship and unity.

The celebration was a great success, and we remain committed to promoting the values of Guiding, empowering young girls and strengthening our friendship.
