Not Just a Walk. A Challenge. An Adventure. A Lesson.

The Duke of Edinburgh Adventure Journey is designed to challenge students; and our adventurers certainly experienced it!

Walking through the trails of LUFASI Nature Park, our students navigated the forest, faced the demands of the journey, worked together, and discovered that adventure comes with both difficulty and fun.

In this video, hear directly from our students as they share their experiences; the challenging moments, the excitement, the lessons they learned, and what made the forest journey memorable.

Beyond the physical endurance, they explored nature, learned about the forest ecosystem, and experienced firsthand the importance of teamwork, resilience and perseverance.

This is learning beyond the classroom. This is how we raise the Total Child.

Adventure, Endurance & Environmental Action at Eleko Beach!

Our Duke of Edinburgh adventurers from Charles Dale Memorial International School and Bereton Early Years, Primary and Secondary School took on an exciting Adventure Journey Endurance Walk to Eleko Beach, Lagos.

Beyond testing their endurance, resilience and teamwork, the adventurers explored the environmental challenges facing the beach, particularly pollution. They also engaged with local residents, sensitising them on the importance of keeping the beach clean and protecting our coastal environment.

It was a journey that went beyond adventure: building character, leadership, environmental responsibility and active citizenship.

This is education beyond the classroom. This is how we raise the Total Child.
