OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU, GCFR

President, Federal Republic of Nigeria
From: GTams

Your Excellency,

This letter is written out of deep frustration, exhaustion, and disappointment shared by millions of Nigerians who are watching their country sink daily under insecurity, terrorism, and government indecision.

Mr. President, the Nigerian population has reached a firm and irreversible conclusion:
Any form of negotiation, peace talk, settlement, or friendly engagement between your administration and terrorists — whether bandits, Boko Haram, ISWAP, or any other armed group — is completely unacceptable and stands as a direct insult to the Constitution and the oath of office you swore.

For years, these groups have unleashed bloodshed, suffering, and destruction. Yet your government continues to treat them with softness, hesitation, and a level of tolerance that Nigerians find outrageous.
Your administration behaves as though these terrorists are entitled to sympathy, as though they are some sort of aggrieved citizens who deserve repeated dialogue. They are not.
They are terrorists, killers, kidnappers, and enemies of the state.

Nigerians are tired — tired of excuses, tired of empty promises, and tired of watching the government pamper criminals while innocent citizens live in fear.

Let it be clearly stated:
We do not want peace talks.
We do not want negotiations.
We do not want any form of settlement with bloodthirsty groups.

What Nigerians demand — and what your office is duty-bound to deliver — is decisive, firm, and uncompromising action that ends this madness.

Your Excellency, the sad truth is that your current approach has failed. Not partially — but completely. The insecurity has grown worse. The terrorists have grown bolder. And the citizens have grown hopeless.

If you do not have the capacity, strategy, or willpower to confront this national tragedy head-on, then — with all due respect — you should step aside. Nigeria cannot continue under leadership that is unable or unwilling to protect its people.

This nation belongs to all of us, not to a handful of armed criminals. Nigerians will not abandon their land, their future, or their dignity simply because the government refuses to act.

Your responsibility is clear:
Protect this nation or make room for someone who can.

Signed,
GTams
