Some days may feel overwhelming. Therapy drop off and pick up's, meetings, financial pressures, emotional stress — it can be a lot. But in the middle of it all, remember that progress is not always loud.

Sometimes it looks like a new word spoken, a small step taken, a calmer day than yesterday. Those small victories matter.

Celebrate them.
Your child is not defined by a diagnosis. They are defined by their potential, their personality, their smile, their uniqueness. And you are not “just” a parent — you are an advocate, a teacher, a therapist at heart, a protector, and a champion.

Our outdoor activities met us like this!😃This video is a great exercise for;

- *Spatial awareness*: My boy is developing his spatial awareness skills, which is the ability to understand his body position and movement in relation to the environment.

- *Sensory integration*: By blindfolding him, he's relying on other senses (hearing, touch, and proprioception) to navigate the space, which can help improve sensory integration.

- *Balance and coordination*: This exercise requires him to maintain balance and coordination while moving through the space without visual feedback.

- *Trust and confidence*: Successfully navigating the course can boost his trust and confidence in his own abilities.

Exercises like this can be used to support students with:

- Visual impairments: To develop alternative navigation skills
- Sensory processing disorders: To improve sensory integration and regulation
- Physical disabilities: To enhance balance, coordination, and mobility
- Cognitive impairments: To develop problem-solving and spatial awareness skills.
