Happy International Womenโ€™s Day to the incredible mothers raising children with disability. ๐Ÿ’œ

Today we celebrate your strength, your patience, your courage, and the deep love you show every single day. You are advocates, teachers, caregivers, protectors, and champions for your children.

Even on the days when the journey feels heavy, you continue to stand strong.

Your sacrifices do not go unseen. Your resilience inspires hope. Your love is changing lives and shaping a more compassionate world.
To every mother walking this unique path โ€” you are powerful, you are brave, and you are not alone. Your story matters. Your child matters. And together, you are proof that love has no limits.

Happy International Womenโ€™s Day! ๐ŸŒธ
We celebrate you today and always.

๐ŸŒŸ You Are Chosen for This Journey ๐ŸŒŸ

Parenting a child with special needs is not a mistake, a punishment, or a coincidence. It is a unique journey โ€” one that requires extraordinary love, strength, patience, and courage. And the beautiful truth is this: you have what it takes.

Some days may feel overwhelming. Therapy drop off and pick up's, meetings, financial pressures, emotional stress โ€” it can be a lot. But in the middle of it all, remember that progress is not always loud.

Sometimes it looks like a new word spoken, a small step taken, a calmer day than yesterday. Those small victories matter.

Celebrate them.
Your child is not defined by a diagnosis. They are defined by their potential, their personality, their smile, their uniqueness. And you are not โ€œjustโ€ a parent โ€” you are an advocate, a teacher, a therapist at heart, a protector, and a champion.

There will be tough days, but there will also be beautiful ones โ€” moments of joy that only parents on this journey truly understand. You are building resilience. You are nurturing strength. You are planting seeds that will grow in ways you may not even see yet.

Take care of yourself too. Rest when you can. Ask for help when needed. Connect with others who understand. You do not have to walk this road alone.

Most importantly, never lose hope. Your love makes a difference every single day.
You are doing better than you think. ๐Ÿ’›

Our outdoor activities met us like this!๐Ÿ˜ƒThis video is a great exercise for;

- *Spatial awareness*: My boy is developing his spatial awareness skills, which is the ability to understand his body position and movement in relation to the environment.

- *Sensory integration*: By blindfolding him, he's relying on other senses (hearing, touch, and proprioception) to navigate the space, which can help improve sensory integration.

- *Balance and coordination*: This exercise requires him to maintain balance and coordination while moving through the space without visual feedback.

- *Trust and confidence*: Successfully navigating the course can boost his trust and confidence in his own abilities.

Exercises like this can be used to support students with:

- Visual impairments: To develop alternative navigation skills
- Sensory processing disorders: To improve sensory integration and regulation
- Physical disabilities: To enhance balance, coordination, and mobility
- Cognitive impairments: To develop problem-solving and spatial awareness skills.

Dear God,

We thank You for the gift of children,
For their laughter, joy, and innocence.
Bless them with love and guidance,
And protect them in Your care.

May they grow in wisdom and kindness,
Embracing each day with hope and dreams.
Help us nurture their hearts and minds,
So they can shine bright in the world.

Amen.

Happy children's day to all our adorables.
We love you.๐Ÿ˜

It was Market day at school.๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Kids learned to bargain, calculate, beckon on customers and many more.

They learned responsibility, financial management, communication and customer relations.

Most importantly, they unconsciously learned to empathize with kids who had to hawk in order to make money.

Oh.... They also had fun.๐Ÿ˜‚

Happy new month.... Looking forward to recording more progress in our adorables.
