In 2016, that was after I had written my second WAEC and JAMB. Despite scoring 200 in JAMB yet I decided to choose Polytechnic over University due to the ease of getting admission and cost.
⁣⁣
⁣⁣
⁣⁣

So, I had RIV Poly in mind which is now called Kenule Sarowiwa Polytechnic. But something happened, before I could realize, the deadline for their supplementary form was over.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
⁣⁣
⁣⁣
⁣⁣
When my elder brother told me this, I felt so bitter in my mind, but he told me that there is another alternative which is Port Harcourt Polytechnic now Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic. That was the same year the school was upgraded from College of Arts and Science to a Polytechnic. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Despite all he said, deep down, I was still not happy because I felt the school was less superior to the one I had in mind. But I didn't have a choice than to go with him to the school to purchase the Admission Form. Then it was done manual, you pay to the school account (zenith), then confirm your payment, fill the admission form and submit. But today, the school has transitioned and has introduced ICT, where virtually all admission form processes are done online.⁣⁣

⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Today, the same person who never liked to study at CEA Poly, was now the one who did both his National Diploma and Higher National Diploma Programme in the same school and through his initiative and online platform, hundreds of Aspirants in different sessions have gotten admission in Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic.⁣⁣

Think about it this way. Imagine writing WAEC, JAMB, and purchasing an admission form, and after all this effort, you are denied admission because of one costly mistake you made.⁣
