Heart attack occurs when the blood to the heart becomes blocked, typically this blockage is caused by the buildup of plaque, a sticky combination of fat and other substances. With this,plaque ruptures it forms a clot that obstructs the flow of blood as the heart struggles to pump blood through the blockage, the rest of the body suffers from reduced supply of blood.
