HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY
Children's Day is marked on November 14. globally but celebrated on every 27th day of May yearly in Nigeria.
The theme for World International children’s day 2023 is, “Inclusion, for every child”. This theme means that every child belonging to any society, community or nationality is entitled to equal rights. It also emphasizes on the eradication of discrimination among children of various civilizations. Not only the general rights, but a global society welcomes and offers space to children of all types of skin tones.
Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together, they make this world a beautiful garden. Let us therefore sacrifice our today so that our children can have a better tomorrow because our future is our children.
Today, Let us all(parents, caregivers, teachers etc) celebrate the innocence and purity of our kids. Let's make them feel precious in every way we can because they are our future.
Every child is special and so we pray that the innocence they hold in their pure heart stay forever inside them and bring the best results.
Happy Children's Day to our ARROWS and to every Nigerian children.

5TH AUGUST 2022.
FOUNDER'S SPEECH ON 2022 PRIZE-GIVING/ GRADUATION PARTY HOLDING TODAY 5TH AUGUST 2022.
Good morning, Director,
Management Board,
Parents and Teachers
Honoured Guests,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Boys and Girls,
I am pleased to welcome you all to this colourful ceremony. Today, we are all here to bid farewell to our 5th graders who are going to join the elementary school or continue their education in the high school.
It gives me great pleasure to look at this row of Year 5 and Early Year 3 students. You and your parents have worked hard this year and today we celebrate your success. You have worked very hard this year, growing not only physically but also growing in character and academic achievement. Your teachers are full of admiration for the way you braced your academic and non academic learning, attending school regularly and completing your schoolwork conscientiously.
A special thank you goes to you our dearest parents for your work at home during this difficult time. Your commitment and support was critical in helping our students keep up with their studies. You sat by your child to motivate them and offer help. You encouraged your child when they felt overwhelmed by schoolwork.
I also want to thank our teachers and staff, who have lived through an incredible year, a year unlike any we’ve experienced before. You have had to rapidly adjust to changing circumstances and have stretched yourselves to the limit to keep the school running. Without your passion for education and your commitment to our students and Arrows Foundation International School, we could not have done this. God bless you all
CHARGE:
It’s true that my colleagues and I have been tough with you at times, but this doesn’t mean that we hate or dislike you—this was all part of a larger effort to prepare you for the greater challenges that lie ahead, and to nurture you and construct a strong foundation for your futures. Under our guidance, you have reached this impressive milestone in your life with great honour and integrity.
As you embark on your respective journeys, much will happen: you will choose careers and find that life can get very complicated if you let it. As you go you will figure out who you are as human beings. Who you are and what you are made of is something that evolves over time and is made up of little choices you make every day. Life is a truly wonderful journey.
Never forget the good virtues you have learnt. Be kind to people. Say the truth at all times. Do not brag or bully. Work and Pray. You are arrows in the hands of the Almighty.

*AN ADDRESS BY THE PROPRIETOR OF ARROWS FOUNDATION INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ON THE OCCASION OF THE 2022 CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION HOLDING TODAY:*
Dear Parents, teachers, care - givers and our precious children.
It is yet another 27th day of May. A day celebrated to honour all Nigerian children. This year, we shall also honour the persons who have been the epitome of great love towards children and who have worked passionately towards the welfare of our children. These persons include parents, teachers and child-care givers.
It is a known fact that well nurtured children make the nation strong and sound. This is the reason for us to put all hands on deck to make sure that each child receive adequate training and good upbringing since they are the future of a nation. We should help these innocent children to imbibe the values of discipline, sense of orderliness, cleanliness, ambitiousness and much more. These values will make a good citizen out of a child.
Each priceless value is gained from home, which is the child’s first school and foundation. A child tends to learn qualities at home through observation, suggestion and influence. Hence parents/guardian plays a major role in shaping a child’s future.
Teach them how to be truthful and hardworking. Bring them up in the way of the Lord.
Our dear students, we want to let you know that a lot is expected from you. Obedience should be your watch word. Strive to be better and greater than your parents and teachers. Work hard. Help your parents and guardians. Bring home honour. Make our nation a better place.
All children have the right to protection.
They have the right to survive.
They have the right to be safe.
It is the right of every child to belong and to be heard.
They have the right to receive adequate care and to grow up in a protective environment.
Let us make Nigeria and the world at large to be conducive for our children.
