Fellow Nigerians

Today is for Nigerians. Today is our Democracy day. Today we remember all those Patriotic Nigerians who sacrificed so much so that we can have democracy.

Dear Nigerians, oh yes I agree with you that the country have not been that great as you so much desired; but we must unite to make our country that great country we so much desired, as we need the good of the land, we must cultivate good seeds.

There is hope, a new Nigeria! it's in our hands to fix the politics of our dear country. I strongly believe that with our collective efforts, we shall make Nigeria the country of our dreams.

I'm today calling all concerned Nigerian to come out as we unite in strength to move our country forward.

Let's remember that Nigeria is ours and only us can make it work

Don't forget, Democracy cannot succeed unless those who express their choice are prepared to choose wisely.

I sincerely wish you all Happy Democracy Day.

Thanks and God bless you.

God bless IPAN.
God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria.

*IPOB Sit-At-Home: IPAN Condemn Killings, Destruction of Properties*

Igbos for a Progressive Nigeria (IPAN) strongly condemned the thuggery that follows the ill-advised sit-at-home forced on the helpless Igbo people by IPOB.

For a group which often prides itself as fighting for freedom, today has unmasked IPOB as a terror group working for the total destruction of Southeast.

All well-meaning sons and daughters of Ndigbo must be shocked by the heartless and reckless destruction of lives and properties that occurred today in Igbo land.

Like all Nigerians, we at IPAN wonder why the killers operated brazenly in broad daylight unchallenged.

Why are the Igbo leaders watching while IPOB entrench Boko Haram’s ideology in Igboland? Violence and killings in the South East by ESN have become the norm. And now, like Boko Haram, the group have zero regards for education. Or how else could one explain the fact that they violently scared Igbo students away from writing NECO?

“Many things clearly don't seem normal,” stated comrade Lawrence Onuzulike, IPAN’s national president.

“Are some people somewhere playing games with the lives of Ndigbo?

“Where are the South East governors? Where are the security agencies? Why is the FG silent? Who ordered the police off the streets?

“If for the sake of argument, the police stayed away to avoid confrontation and loss of lives, does it then mean that the lives of IPOB members are more important than those of millions of defenseless Igbo people?

“And why were some section of the media quick to deceive Nigerians by quickly declaring total compliance to the sit-at-home, even in the face of violent oppression, intimidation and killings going on in various parts of the South East?”

On his part, Dr. Eugene Uche, the national secretary of IPAN, expressed shock that innocent Igbo people were abandoned by those meant to protect them. He wondered why Unknown Gunmen were allowed to murder helpless Igbo people in cold blood unchallenged.

“Videos are everywhere showing hapless Igbo sons and daughters being burnt alive inside buses,” he said.

“The state and federal government must immediately step up to their responsibilities of protecting the lives and properties of their citizens, to avoid the country descending into anarchy,” he concluded.
