Branding is the game of building trust and multiplying trust. If trust is not being built, reinforced and multiplied, then your investment in branding is a waste.
Therefore we can say you should forget about branding and just focus on building trust and increasing it, and at the end of the day, everything you do to achieve that can still be called a branding move.
So, these are the five things you must always have at the tip of your fingers in conversations, presentations, gatherings and even on your social and web platforms?
Anywhere you have interactions with your target audience, be in via print media, digital media, one-to-one interactions, these five things must be handy if you want to quickly gain the trust of people.
The question is, 'Do you satisfy all the five requirements right now?'

Four things to regularly pay attention to while building a brand:
1⃣ The problem: Your brand is only as relevant as the tangible problem the business is solving. No matter how sweet your communication is, if it can't clearly paint the picture of the problem the business solves, it will fail. So, you can never over-ask the question of 'What problem are we solving?'
2⃣ Proud moments: Your proud moments are those moments when you see your mission being fulfilled in the lives of your target customers or clients. Those moments when they come back with gratitude for the transformation you've caused for them. You always need these moments to validate your mission.
3⃣ Not-so-good moments: These are periods of uncomfortable truths. These are periods when you face the truths about areas you still have work to do. Taking time to ponder on them would reveal to you what to do to arrest such events from reoccurring.
4⃣ Industry trends: Never be so busy attending to customers/clients that you have no time set apart or a routine of unplugging yourself to see the bigger playing field. Always stay close to where recent conversations are happening around your industry. Your brand needs you to be abreast with these things.
Now, even if you can't do all this weekend, plan to do at least two out of the four. Do have a beautiful weekend ahead.

The hallmark of building a solid brand is that you've made it easier for those who don't need your kind of value to know they don't need it.
